Growing up in a farming-oriented community, I had lots of exposure to just about all animals. My family has had dogs, cats, horses, and rabbits, whose care I was heavily involved in, and I have experience taking care of other animals such as sheep and chickens. I’m also open to learning about new animals! What I value most is getting to know the animals I am taking care of and gaining their trust, while sticking closely to their normal routine to keep them feeling safe. I am always excited to get to know new animals and their unique personalities!

I know from experience that keeping as normal of an environment as possible is best for many animals, and will take note of how you normally exist in the space with your pets in order to make them feel the most comfortable while you are absent. This includes keeping your pets’ feeding schedules on track and spending quality time with them (or giving them space if that’s what they prefer), and anything else I’m informed of!

Anna did an excellent job taking care of our dog and house sitting for us. She left the house in perfect condition and our dog was very calm and happy. We would recommend her to anyone and would love to have her back again.
Dog was in a good mood when I returned and house stayed clean over the weekend away.

Anna was great with my large GSD! She came by to meet him ahead of the sit, which gave me great comfort. She was good at communicating with me during the sit and sent me pics. This was my first experience with Rover and I’m glad I went with Anna!

Schedule
During the school year I am a busy person as a full-time student with a part-time job, but I'm usually home whenever I'm not doing those things. I also will not be taking any on-campus classes this summer, so I’m more available. Currently, I’m quite available on weekdays but working on the weekend. I usually do offer more flexible housesitting services, but currently do not have a roommate that can feed my own cat when I'm away, so I'm only offering housesitting close enough for me to make a quick trip back to my place to check in on him!

- If your pet gets anxious around new people or places, just let me know! I have had many an anxious pet, and am somewhat of an anxious person myself, so I totally understand if your pet needs extra care in order to give their trust! Also let me know if your animal has any special needs or routines that I can help keep up while you’re away, or any conditions that they need treatment for! I will do my research and carefully take instruction from you on how to take care of your pet in the best way possible!
