Dog savvy with vet med experience
Just moved from Seattle to Venice beach. Starting over and rebuilding my boarding clientele. My boyfriend and I have a beautiful one bedroom apartment with a fenced outdoor space just steps from the beach. We have three dogs which consist of two seniors and one lazy one. In Seattle I had an upward for 40 or so regular clients whose dogs I cared for over many years. It was tough saying goodbye but I’m excited to rebuild and make new dog friends here in Venice :)

Anna was seriously the sweetest! So communicative and loving towards my pup, Pepper. She has experience with IVDD dogs, so as a Frenchie mom is gave me additional peace of mind. Will definitely be booking again!

Anna was fantastic with my girl Nala. She kept her happy and well cared for. Sent photos so I didn’t have to worry. Nala clearly loved her and came home relaxed and happy. Highly recommend Anna. She’s reliable, warm, and great with dogs!
Anna is AMAZING!! I would give her 10/10 stars if I could. Our high energy, working dog stayed with her for 2 weeks and our pup had the time of his life! She really took the time to understand all of Ranger's needs and I felt like he was so well loved and taken care of for his entire stay. She took him on many walks and runs to meet his energy needs, sent plenty of photos of videos, and was always quick to respond to every message. We'll definitely be bringing Ranger back to Anna whenever we go out of town again :) Your pup will be in such good hands with Anna!!

Schedule
Dogs have been my world since I was a kid. I started out working in dog daycares and boarding facilities where I learned a lot about pack behavior, safety, and reading different personalities. I later moved into grooming, which I still enjoy doing sometimes. Over the years I’ve also been involved in foster care and rescue for dogs in high kill shelters later helping dogs find homes. I most recently spent seven years working in veterinary medicine so I’m very comfortable recognizing health issues and caring for dogs with different needs.

When pets stay with me, they become part of the household. I keep a calm, structured environment with lots of attention, play, and rest time. Dogs have access to comfy spots to relax, supervised social time if they enjoy other dogs, and consistent routines so they feel secure, safe, and genuinely at home.

A typical day
Typical day includes sun bathing, playing with others and cuddling up on the couch. My patio is small but fully fenced with an outdoor daybed to lounge on and plenty of plants to provide shade. I’m also right off the Venice boardwalk so there’s plenty of opportunity for walks. Apartment stays cool with AC.

- I ask that your dog: -Does well with all dogs of all ages and sizes -Up to date on vaccines -On a monthly flea prevention -Can be crated without separation anxiety/destructive behavior -Over all if you have a high anxiety dog I do ask for you to look elsewhere. From experience dogs with high levels of anxiety can effect the entire pack. -Barking if left alone. (I do have to be able to leave home if needed without concerns of dogs barking and frustrating the neighbors) - although I have a extensive history working with dogs and different behaviors I will be avoiding taking on dogs that are newly adopted (still adjusting or you may not know them well) and generally dogs in need of training beyond average dog antics.
