After raising a puppy to become a guide dog for the blind from 2007 until 2009, I was heartbroken (yet very proud!) when I learned that my black lab had moved past her training and would be going on to help a young blind man. Without a dog in my life, I constantly felt like I was missing a much needed companion. I have since gone on to rescue a chocolate lab named Nelly who I absolutely consider my best friend. When Nelly needs a sitter, I want to know that the person visiting her is someone who will show her love and affection to make her feel at ease. I am confident I can provide the same level of care I expect for Nelly to your pup(s) as well!
