I have been a cat owner and a cat lover for over 20 years. Also have been a dog owner for 7 years now. My first dog wasn't trained when I got him, so I had to fully immerse myself into the dog world - since I was the one to train him, and now I am able to basically read his mind. We are the closest friends ever. Thanks to all the challenges I had to face while training him, I've decided to become a dog trainer, and make dogs not only my life but also my job. I am currently doing a dog trainers course, and super excited to make dogs not only the biggest part of my life but also my job. Since I got my first dog, I had to use Rover sitters quite a few times and I had realized how important this service is to pet owners. Unlike cats, dogs need constant attention and care, and I can provide your pets with anything they need - love, care, and attention. I am at home almost full-time. I do have a part-time job, but I work only a couple of hours at a time, so your pet will not be left alone for a long time or bored. It is best if your pup is crate trained, especially if you are a new client - it will be safer for them to be crated while I am not home. The returning doggy customers are ok roaming in the house while I am gone, but if you are a new customer - please, let me know if your baby is crate trained or not. Your pup will be able to play with my dogs in the backyard and go out for walks around the neighborhood. My dogs are dog-friendly and cat-friendly. My GSD is a dominant male, so unfortunately, I will not be able to watch your dog if yours is a dominant male as well. Also, I can only watch fixed males for the same reason. But unfixed male puppies/young dogs are totally ok - my GSD is actually super patient with crazy young pups.
