I am currently working part time as a shift leader at a pet store. Depending on your time needs, I can visit in the mornings or evenings. My schedule is not set, but with enough notice I can work around times to be flexible.

I am unable to bring your pup to my home, but I am happy to visit yours. I will be sure to follow your routines as closely as possible, so your pet feels most comfortable while you’re away. If there is a park or trail your pup loves most, I will be glad to take them on a short walk during the visit. For the kitties, I love to bring string toys and catnip along to make sure they have ample fun time. I am more of a cat person, (though dogs are great too) so they will receive lots of cuddles and love while away.

Before our visit please let me know if there are any special needs or medication they need to take. I have taken care of dogs with mobility and hearing/seeing issues but please let me know ahead of time if they have any. I can do basic training with dogs upon request and can reinforce any commands you may have already taught.
A typical day
A tired pup is a happy pup. I enjoy playing with animals, so whether it’s your toys or mine, they will get lots of time to have fun. I love to bring my Chuck-It with me for the pups to get a good game of fetch. Making sure they get lots of attention is my focus, so it will feel like a little vacation for your pup as well.

I’ve taken care of many dogs and every breed of cat. I started volunteering with my local shelter at age 10 and quickly learned how to handle any animal in a high stress situation. I was taught how to clip nails, administer medication, and even give injections and subcutaneous fluids if necessary. I am a shift leader for a pet store and have learned a lot about animal nutrition and care. I can do short basic training sessions during our visit upon request. Friends, family and neighbors have hired me for my animal knowledge and ability to care for any animal’s need. It would be my honor to meet and care for your pets as much as I would do for my own.
