I’m currently attending school while also working full-time, so I do ask for as much advance notice as possible. I do my best to be flexible with scheduling and will always work with pet parents to find visit times that fit both their pets’ routines and my availability.

To provide the best care for your pet, I ask for clear guidance ahead of time on their daily routine, including feeding schedule, portion sizes, and any specific habits or preferences they have. If your pet takes medication, I’ll need details on what is given, when it should be administered, and how your pet does best with it. Any helpful tips for making the process easier are always appreciated as well. It’s also helpful to know about any important medical conditions, behavioral quirks, fears, or triggers so I can make sure your pet stays safe and comfortable. My goal is to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
For drop-in visits, I start by greeting your pets calmly and checking in on their overall well-being. I make sure they have fresh water, clean litter boxes or potty breaks as needed, and that any feeding is done according to your instructions. I always take time to give attention, whether that means playtime, gentle interaction, or simply sitting with pets who prefer a calmer presence. I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior to make sure everything seems normal and that they’re happy and healthy while you’re away. If anything seems off, I will always communicate with you right away.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I began volunteering in animal rescue when I was very young, where I first learned to care for sick and vulnerable cats. As I gained experience, I also began working with rescue dogs, helping care for them while they waited for their forever homes. Those experiences taught me patience, compassion, and how to recognize when an animal may need extra attention. For the past several years, I’ve worked in pet retail, where I’ve cared for and handled a wide variety of animals, including birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, fish, and other small pets. This has given me experience with different species, their unique care requirements, and the importance of maintaining consistent routines. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve owned many pets throughout my life and have pet sat for friends, family, and clients. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and gentle care. I’m also happy to follow detailed care instructions and administer most basic medications when needed.

Anna was very attentive to our 3 cats. She sent lots of photos and videos. I left very detailed instructions (first time leaving our animals for so long with a sitter) and Anna was so kind and patient with me. She followed everything to the letter! Absolutely would hire Anna again!
