I work a hybrid schedule that involves two work-from-home days a week so I can sit for or walk dogs during those days. I am also available most weekends.

I make sure to stick to your pet’s regular feeding and walking schedule—I know dogs thrive on routine. Having dogs myself, as well as fostering a number of them, I also have supplies on hand such as treats, toys, poop bags and even a crate if your pet needs a safe space to decompress.

Other than the standard feeding and walking schedule, please let me know if your dog has any foods they should avoid eating (for example, chicken) so that I can ensure I don't give them any treats with that ingredient.
A typical day
I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. I would love to go on long walks with your dog and allow them the time to sniff and observe their surroundings. I also have a variety of chews and toys we can play with including stuffies, puzzle toys and a good old fashioned tennis ball.

Pet care experience
Big dogs, little dogs, I love them all. I've had pets all my life and I can't imagine a world without them. In my spare time, I volunteer for a non-profit dog rescue and have fostered a number of dogs in the past, providing me with experience caring for dogs of various sizes, ages and breeds. I believe in positive reinforcement when interacting with animals and have taken some training classes over the years to understand how to better communicate with them. I believe all animals are deserving of the best life possible while they're with us and I promise to treat your pet as if they were my own!

Anna was incredible! We booked somewhat last minute for a housesit with our 6 year old rescue dog named Toga. She came to our neighbourhood for a meet and greet first and Toga was instantly smitten! Anna is extremely friendly, warm and knows a lot about all the quirks that come with rescue dogs, having fostered and worked with a rescue org. She also has her own dog, which put us at ease because we knew she’d treat Toga like one of her own! We had to change plans to leave a night earlier and Anna was very graciously able to accommodate - she was on time for our departure and was able to be flexible when we were stuck in a bit of traffic getting home. She sent some amazing photos of Toga during her stay, with updates every morning, and our apartment was spotless when we got home. We’ll definitely be booking again. Thank you Anna! 💓🐶
