When I dog-sit, my number one goal is comfort and communication, both with the parent and the pet. I enjoy learning about a dogs personality, and I try to make the transition as smooth as possible during your time away. I love cuddles, walks, playing fetch, or whatever other activities your four-legged friend enjoys. When it comes to communication, I always send pictures and videos while you are away, and I always ask questions if anything out of the ordinary should arise.

I have a lot of experience with a variety of dogs, including behavioral issues, medications, high-energy, blind, elderly, and puppy. If your dog has anything that would require extra care or attention, I would definitely want to discuss their needs beforehand to make sure we both feel I am qualified, and that we are comfortable with their care arrangements. I have my GoodPup Dog Training Certification, which helps in understanding each dogs body language and cues.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on walks and letting them get outside and smell all the things. Cuddles are always welcomed, as well as fetch, playing, and giving treats. My hope is to give them the same activities and stimulation as usual, but in a way that makes them feel spoiled and at ease.

My name is Anna and I have been dog-sitting for seven years now, with a large variety of experience. From taking care of my own dogs on the family farm, to pet-sitting in Europe, I have worked with small, medium, and large dogs (e.g. Yorkie, Shitzu, Black Lab, Westie, Greyhound, and more). I have experience administering medication both orally and topically, and it has always gone smoothly.

I have known Anna all of her life. She is a delightful, dependable, responsible, honest, caring, clean, and organized person who strives to do her best in all that she does. Anna graduated from college with her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Weber State University's John B. Goddard School of Business & Economics. She earned the award of "Outstanding Graduate" with a GPA of 3.96. Before Anna began renting a bedroom in our home, she “house sat” and “dog sat” for us. I have a young and spirited Yorkie named Mickey. As a toy breed, he can be highly anxious and insecure. Anna is very loving and kind to him, taking him on daily walks, giving him attention, and making him feel safe and loved while we are gone. I am so thankful to have someone like her to care for Mickey while I am away. I do not worry about him while I am gone because I know she is meeting all of his needs! I trust Anna in my home and taking care of my little puppy boy! Since Anna lives with us now, I get to watch her relationship with Mickey daily. Even though I am home, Anna still takes him for walks and lets him join her in her part of the house when I am gone for the day. She knows that when I leave, he gets scared and begins to shake. She is always willing to comfort him and help him feel secure. Anna is a wonderful renter. She takes good care of my home and she is my first choice for a dog sitter! She is one of the most intentional, responsible, considerate, and dependable young women I have ever known! You and your dogs will be grateful that you chose her!
