I grew up in a home full of pets (from parrots and fish to a tortoise and dogs), so I’m confident caring for different animals and understanding their needs. As an adult, I’ve shared a deep bond with my own dog, which shaped my approach to providing patient, attentive and loving care. I also work part-time supporting a pet loss community, holding space for people grieving the loss of their pets and often preparing to rescue a new pet. This has deepened my appreciation for just how meaningful and unique each human-animal connection is - something I bring into the way I care for every pet. While I’m new to paid pet sitting, I’ve regularly looked after pets for friends and neighbours and always treat them as my own.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritise keeping their routine, environment, and sense of security as consistent as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medication, and any specific care needs. I make sure pets are always supervised during visits and walks, and I’m attentive to their behaviour so I can quickly notice if anything feels unusual or needs attention. I also treat every home with great respect - keeping it clean, tidy, and secure while you’re away. I’m careful with doors, keys, and safety routines, and I ensure your home is left just as I found it. Most importantly, I aim to provide a calm, steady presence so pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment.

Ania was fantastic! Excellent communication, loads of photos, really bonded with Betsy who seemed very calm and happy when we got home. It was very warm and Betsy was on some medication and Ania made every effort to keep Betsy cool and made sure she had the medication she needed. Our house was left lovely and clean, would definitely recommend!
Ania looked after our cat Kingsley for the first time this weekend. She was a great communicator, clear and friendly, both before and during the sit. We came home to a very tidy house and a very content cat. Thank you Ania!
I have known Ania for about 15 years and noticed, very early on, that she is an empathetic person; always the first to offer support to someone who is struggling. Several years ago she agreed to foster a rescue dog for two weeks while a new home for her was being sought. Within a few days, Dolly was completely at ease with Ania and her surroundings. I was impressed with how quickly a close bond formed between them - to the point where Ania asked if she could adopt Dolly herself. Under Ania's loving care, Dolly went from being reserved, suspicious and defensive around other people to becoming a Certified Care Dog. When my sister went on holiday to Guernsey for a week, she was looking for a kennel to put her dog in - I had no hesitation in suggesting that Ania could look after Ariel. Ania was working from home that week and readily agreed. At the first meeting between my sister, Ariel and Ania it was obvious that Ariel would be well-cared for, relaxed and happy. It is impressive to watch Ania approach a 'new' dog, and how quickly that dog takes to her. I have no hesitation in recommending Ania to you most highly - she really does have an empathy that dogs sense - and trust - immediately. Schedule
I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care throughout the week. I’m available for weekday and weekend bookings, including daytime visits, morning/evening walks, and overnight house sitting. I can also accommodate longer stays and repeat bookings, and I’m happy to be flexible where possible for regular clients. Because of my flexible routine, I’m able to plan my day around your pet’s needs and maintain their usual schedule, making sure they feel secure and well cared for while you’re away.
