I currently work on an “as needed” basis so I have a very open day-to-day schedule, leaving me with the availability to spend any amount of time with the sweet dogs/cats in my care. I typically spend the weekends at home with a good book, hiking or playing disc golf in my free time, all of which include my dogs by my side. My dogs are obsessed with the water, so we are often found fishing or swimming at the river or lake when the weather is ideal. I will be caring for my dogs or others animals some of the time so if house-sitting, I might have to come and go here and there but your animals will always be top priority during that time. I will communicate with you before booking what my schedule will look like.

I take my pups to the local parks or hiking trails at least a few times a week for new smells and extra activity. I am willing/able to take your dogs to new places if you would like, depending on how well they do in the car. I always dedicate at least 1-2 hours a day to my dog’s physical activity, so your pups will definitely have the opportunity to exercise and release all that energy, followed by an evening of many cuddles and sleeping in the bed. (if allowed)

A typical day
I truly think the dog gets bored when activity time includes the same walk route or the same fenced in yard each day. I love for my dogs to be excited about their next adventure, so I take them on a different route or to a different park/field each day to stimulate their minds and allow them to enjoy all the new smells. Depending on how the dog does in public environments, I would love to take him/her to the home depot for some extra attention and stop by a coffee shop for a good pup cup!

I have grown up with both large and small dogs, as well as cats. Animals have always held a special place in my life, and I understand that our animals are a true member of the family and should be treated as such. I have rescued two dogs of my own; we have learned to roll over, lay down, and spin around. Anna is an absolute treasure!
This was our first time using Rover. I went with Anna and would use her again to watch our cat. She was easy to communicate with and she sent me pics from each visit. She was trustworthy and responsible. :)
Anna was awesome! Worked around my travel plans. Got introduced to her two amazing dogs. If I wasn’t moving out of state I would definitely leave Apollo with her again.
This was our second booking with Anna, and it was every bit as excellent as the first. So much TLC with our 13-year-old cat. He loves her and she loves him. She meets his every need. We love her, too, and will book with her again.
