Hello! My name is Anna, and I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Caring for animals isn't just something I do, it's something I'm truly passionate about. I previously worked as a pet groomer and loved helping and connecting with animals. I've also been dog walking and pet sitting since I was about 12 years old, giving me years of hands on experience with animals of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or requires specialized care, I try to provide a safe, positive, and stress free experience. In addition to dogs and cats, I have a special love for reptiles and fish. I grew up maintaining aquariums and reptile enclosures and have owned several species of geckos over the years. I'm happy to care for your scaly, aquatic, or exotic family members as well! I've been providing pet care through this platform for over 8 years, and one of my favorite parts of the job is meeting new animals and building relationships with them. At home, I have two beloved cats, Ruckus and Data, who mean the world to me. While I grew up with dogs, raising my cats has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. My background in grooming and pet sitting has given me extensive experience with dogs of all breeds. I do not discriminate based on breed. My priority is ensuring that both your pet and I feel comfortable and safe during our interactions. I do not accept every other day bookings, as I believe daily check ins are important for your pet's safety and well being. Meet & Greet Policy: I require an in person meet and greet for all new clients. This is not optional, as I believe it's essential for everyone to be comfortable and on the same page before I take responsibility for your pets and home. Please note that I do not offer virtual meet and greets. Meet and greets typically last about 30 minutes and allow me to learn important details about your pet's routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys, hiding spots, bathroom habits, medications, and any special needs. We'll also review booking details, discuss expectations, and preferably exchange keys. Most importantly, it gives us an opportunity to see how your pet and I connect. My Approach to Pet Care: I pride myself on understanding animal behavior and respecting each pet's individual comfort level. I never force interaction, affection, or handling if a pet isn't ready for it. Building trust is always my priority. I have experience caring for senior pets, pets with anxiety, high maintenance pets, and pets with terminal illnesses or special medical needs. I'm happy to discuss these situations on a case by case basis to ensure I can provide the level of care your pet deserves. Respect for Your Home: I take your privacy and personal space very seriously. I will only access areas of your home necessary to care for your pets or address a potential issue. My goal is to be respectful of your space while ensuring your pets remain safe, healthy, and happy throughout my visits. What You Can Expect From Me: My goal is to provide exceptional care for your pets and complete peace of mind while you're away. Every visit includes: • Detailed visit reports through Rover Cards • Plenty of photos and a written update • Monitoring for any health, behavior, or household concerns • Compassionate, attentive care tailored to your pet's needs Drop-In Visits (30 or 60 Minutes) During drop-in visits, I can: • Feed pets and refresh water • Clean food and water bowls as needed • Scoop litter boxes and maintain cages/enclosures • Provide playtime, enrichment, and affection (if welcomed) • Check for accidents or household concerns • Bring in mail and packages • Ensure your home remains secure and in good order Dog Walks (30 or 60 Minutes) Your dog's safety is my top priority. For walks, I only use standard fixed length leashes. Retractable leashes can create unsafe situations for both pets and handlers. If you don't have a standard leash available, please let me know and I can provide one. During hot weather, I carefully monitor temperatures and pavement conditions. If I feel conditions could be unsafe for your dog's paws or health, we'll discuss alternative forms of exercise and enrichment instead. I will never risk your pet's safety for the sake of completing a walk. I love taking photos during my visits and will happily share plenty of updates. Additional Policies • July 24th and 25th are treated as holidays, and holiday rates will apply. • A $5 return key fee applies if I need to personally return your key after a booking. You're also welcome to have me leave it in an agreed upon location or pick it up from me. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my services.
