I work from home on a light assignment schedule. Therefore, I have lots of flexibility with regard to drop-in visits and house sitting. I have a car and can be pretty much anywhere on any day.

A typical day
I start a typical day with a dog by going for a nice walk in the morning, or maybe a hike, and then get to whatever I need to take care of for work on my laptop, with regular outside play and potty breaks for the dog(s). I might run some errands in the afternoon, and then finish the day with a walk before dinner time. For dogs who need to run around and play fetch (like Labradors and Shepherds), I'll schedule in quality play time with them in the backyard or in a nearby park (if you deem it safe, of course). I am great at quickly learning what a dog needs to be happy - whether that's outdoor playtime or relaxing time in the evening together before bed.

Pet care experience
Hi there, I'm Anna. I'm a 30 year-old educator and professional pet sitter with a background in youth development. I have over a decade of rewarding pet care experience for cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and health conditions. I started pet sitting in 2014 to support myself in college, and then never stopped because I truly enjoy it. I love working with animals and youth because every day is an adventure! Rover gives me the opportunity to do work that is meaningful while experiencing different neighborhoods and communities. I also work as a remote tutor, which is all done from home, so I am available to attend to your pets’ needs throughout the day. If you're okay with it, I'd love to take your dog on a hike :) I am grateful to have earned trusting relationships and 5-star reviews from all of my clients. Moreover, my significant other is a dog trainer for a rescue and pet sitter as well, so you have the option to meet both of us for greater likelihood that at least one of us will be available for all of your future travel needs. I’m flexible, reliable, responsible, and eager to get to know your beloved pets! *Note: I took a few months off work for family medical circumstances and just started up again, so my schedule is completely open for new clients.

Reviews

Anna goes above and beyond! She is easy to work with, is very communicative, and asks great questions to get to know our pets. Thanks, Anna!

Anna took excellent care of our animals. She was communicative and allowed them to invade her personal space for cuddles as much as they demanded. She left our home spotless and was a great help!

Anna took very good care of our boy. She was thoughtful in her approach to pet care and had great communication. Thank you!

Anna took excellent care of my two cats over Christmas break when she housesat. She asked savvy questions about the cats and the condo at our meet and greet and was very personable and communicative prior to and during her stay. The house was immaculate upon my return. But, I think I buried the lead... she went above and beyond by ferreting out my shy cat in his hiding place under the stairs and feeding him there while ensuring my other friendly cat didn't become a glutton by eating both their food. It was more than I could have asked for and I so appreciate her loving care of both cats. I would totally recommend her and hire her again.
