I do not have any classes this summer wooohooo! As a graduate student, I don’t work the typical 9-5 and can make be very flexible with my weekday hours. I also work mostly remote in my current lab! I have free time in the middle of the day while others might be stuck at work. Happy to work with individual clients based on their needs.

Safety, trust & environment
My credibility and home has been vetted by a local, foster-based group called Purrgatory cat Rescue. I treat my foster kitties with love and care helping them flourish in an inside environment which they have never had to opportunity to know. My unique experience with animals helps me adapt to each individual pet I care for alongside the owner’s knowledge and understanding of their baby. I have all the materials for a kitty at home and a safe neighborhood for walking dogs.

Information Anna D. would like to know about your pet
Let me know about any medications your pet might need, I am no stranger to this! How many walks and at what times of day is also super helpful for me to build my schedule.
A typical day
Aa a behavioral neuroscience researcher by training, I am very in-tune to what animals need :) I recently learned that sniffing on walks does much more to stimulate and enrich a dog’s mind than a longer walk with no sniffing. I have the time and the energy to go on long, sniff-ful walks but also am always looking for ways to get them running, jumping and playing of course!

Pet care experience
I just moved away from my dog-filled home in New York and looking for some much needed pet time! I’ve lived with two dogs my entire life and cared for/sat all the dogs in my extended family and for family friends. Since high school, I have been hired by families to dog, cat, and house sit. From puppies to senior dogs, I have adapted to all ability levels and needs; including giving medication and extra walks or runs. I am a neuroscience graduate student with a flexible schedule (not your typical 9-5) and no pets of my own.

Reviews

Anna went above and beyond to take care of our dog. She gave her medicine and kept us updated every day with the cutest photos. Our dog uses a muzzle outside and Anna was so diligent in caring for her special needs. I would recommend Anna over and over again. She couldn’t have been better.

Very friendly, punctual, and a good communicator. Definitely will use her again!

Anna was amazing, highly recommend!! She was so good with my boy Cyrus and checked in daily to let me know he was taken care of!

Anna was great with my 10-month-old strong and energetic puppy! She seemed to really care about making sure he was happy and well excercised. She's a pro.
