Guiding Eyes Trained Dog Lover!
I have cared for dogs all of my life; many different dogs have been through my home, with different dispositions and character. I worked training dogs with Guiding Eyes for the Blind for about 4 years. During this time, I raised puppies and taught them basic house manners, socialization, and how to walk and behave. I worked with dogs from 2 months to 2 years and have given them the skills needed to guide! I currently have two house dogs, a rescue and a yellow lab. I can handle dogs big and small. If requested, I can bring them to the Metroparks or beach for a break. If you have a younger dog I can also work with them on basic training during our time together. I would love to spend time helping to take care of your dog.

Safety, trust & environment
Caring for pets is my first concern! I follow each client’s directions exactly and love when I am left with a list of important times and notes for their dog. I prefer having a meet and greet, especially if I will be house sitting the pup so I can have a good handle on where things are and each dog can meet me and get used to me. I also send updates to owners via text or the Rover app so you can stay in touch with your pets.

Anna checked in with us often, walked our little fur lad often and kept up with his slightly more challenging old dog diet. She was simply the best, cannot be overstated.
Anna was great with communicating, kind, and was able to house sit for us. She respected the space and was able to care for our two pitts. Would definitely recommend her to others.
Anna was a great house sitter for our 9-year-old Boxweiler and 12-week-old golden. The pups had a blast going to the park and hanging with Anna all week. She asked ahead of time if it would be alright if her younger sister lent a hand, which we were absolutely cool with, as she was incredibly helpful and reliable as well! Plus, the girls left the house spotless when we returned - very trustworthy and reliable house sitter for pups of all ages and sizes!!

Anna has watched our boxer mix, George, multiple times. She is very good with him - he has lots of energy but she makes sure he walks and runs so he burns it all before coming back home.
Anna has never met a dog she didn’t like! And the same can be said for the dogs! While a high school student, Anna’s service project was raising a puppy for the Guiding Eyes organization. She raised the puppy from around 8 weeks of age until around 14 months of age at which time the dog returned to New York to finish her training. Anna successively raised the dog to become a service dog for the blind. She has grown up with dogs in the family and currently has a rescue and a yellow lab of her own. I know she would take great care of your fur babies as well.

Schedule
I am a medical student currently on break! Therefore, I have plenty of time to come spend with your pup and am available at all times throughout the day. Please book with me based on what works best for your schedule! Of note, I will be beginning a class soon that requires me to be in school in the mornings, but am very free otherwise.
