I have had several varieties of dogs my whole life, and am currently fortunate to be a mom of two amazing pups. I began officially caring for dogs, outside of my own, in 2022. I have a Pet Sitting Certificate and will open up my Rover account a few times a year for new clients. In addition to Rover, I operate a small dog care business that is licensed and insured. I love this type of work, and most especially, building relationships with wonderful dogs and pet parents. I would be honored to care for your loved ones while you are away, and they will be treated as a member of my family. My top priorities are your peace of mind, as well as the safety and comfort of your fur babies. This part of my life brings me much joy, and I also take it very seriously.

Anna was an incredible sitter for our two dogs, we're sooo thankful to have found her on such short notice for a weekend trip. Her home is super dog friendly and she even let my ball-obsessed Bowser have his chuck-it all day which I'm sure made him feel comfortable and excited to be there. Our other dog Rocko is more timid but he integrated super quickly as well so it's obvious Anna treats her pet guests as if they were her own fur babies. The several pictures and video updates also made us feel extremely secure in our decision to use her as our sitter, so we couldn't be happier with our experience. 10/10 would recommend Anna for any daycare or boarding needs!

Schedule
I am a master’s level professional social worker with a hybrid schedule. My position affords me the flexibility to board and care for your pups during the day, evenings, and weekends. Once I retire from the field, my plan is to fully focus on my dog sitting business. I only take 3 to 4 dogs at the same time, trying to keep the group size to 6 or less. Pups that do best in my care are those who are comfortable around other dogs. I ask that new pups are those that have never shown aggression towards dogs or humans. For boarding services, I like to arrange a brief meet and greet, prior to the day they arrive for their first visit. I have cared for several dogs that have never been away from home, and the experiences have been very positive.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, a dog door, and two friendly dogs for your fur baby to play with. The dogs are the center of the home and their needs are my focus. If your pup loves to take walks, I would love to take them around my neighborhood, or there is a great park close by. I always separate everyone during mealtimes. For bedtime, I’m flexible and accommodate each pup’s preference. My pups are in my room, and there’s always room for more:). If they prefer a kennel, I have those as well. Even with a household full of furry friends, the home environment is calm, clean and structured. I take pride in providing a healthy, safe and nurturing environment.

A typical day
The pups and I love to play inside and outside, take walks, discover new toys, and most importantly, share lots of love. My youngest fur baby loves all dogs and will play all day with whoever is game;). The majority of my clients have been with me for several years, so even the 'non-resident' pups get to be great friends. It's very sweet to see how they will remember one another and have bonded.
