Hi! My name is Anna, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs, and I’ve been pet-sitting since I was young. For the past two years, I’ve been a professional dog walker in Chicago with Windy City Dog Walkers, completing an extensive training program and gaining real-world experience in everything from leash manners to handling emergencies. Alongside that, I’ve built lasting relationships with my own private clients, who trust me to care for their pets as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with animals in a variety of settings. I volunteered at a big cat rescue in South Africa, gaining experience in animal care, feeding, and enrichment. I later worked at BloomingPaws, where I cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and personalities, and in Thailand I volunteered with stray dog rescue centers—building patience and confidence in handling shy, energetic, and nervous pups. I also hold a minor in Animal Behavior from Indiana University, which has strengthened my understanding of how to read and respond to each pet as an individual.
