Hello everyone, My name is Anna and I have been caring for my own pets and the pets of friends and family now for as long as I've been able to walk. My greatest joy in life was spending time with my two dogs and it would give me great pleasure to help others take care of their dogs as well. At home, dogs have free rein unless I go out briefly in which case access to my bedroom is closed off. My home is mostly hardwood but because I like comfort and warmth, there are carpets, pillows and blankets all over the place for our furry friends to enjoy. I typically only accept one dog at a time. I enjoy meeting new people and feel I am a very open, honest and accommodating individual. I hope that through this opportunity I get to share my love of animals with other pet owners in the Vancouver area.

Schedule
I am currently home full-time Monday - Sunday, so I am always around to care for pets. I believe in 3-4 walks per day, starting with first thing in the morning and right before bed. Fully available on weekends to take pets out for longer walks around the neighbourhood or to the beach for some fun in the sand.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m an affectionate person with pets, and I believe in soft, but firm direction (as a way to build trust and offer safety). I will always put the needs of pets first and arrange my day accordingly. I’m quite vigilant, as someone whose had plenty of experience with rescue dogs in-past, so I am always scanning the environment for threats to provide maximum safety for all pets! I prefer to only board one dog at a time, so I may focus my attention fully to that pet.
A typical day
One of my favourite things to do with pets, is go to the local beach and play in the water/sand. If it’s not the nicest day, then a local walk around the neighbourhood, followed by cuddling on the couch is always my first go-to.
