Zen Garden Pet Retreat
I grew up on a farm in Kentucky running around dogs, horses and cows. I’ve always been naturally drawn to animals and have taken excellent care of my own pets as my vet will tell you. I’ve had 2 pit bulls and a cat over the years. Sadly, my dog Birdy recently passed at the age of 14. The last 2 years of her life gave me some valuable experience in caring for senior pets. I will always cater to a dog or cat with special needs.

Words truly can’t describe how amazing of a job Ann has done taking care of my little girl Rosie. Ann has absolutely done a better job watching her then my own friends and family in the past. I received affective communication daily with photos and videos making me feel very at ease with Rosie in her care while I was away for an extended period of time. Ann is a very caring, loving person who with out a doubt treat your dog like her own. Rosie & I have made a new friend for life we will absolutely be using Ann again for future stays. She does day care and over nights ! I advise anyone who leaves there dog with Ann to tip her accordingly ( that means big) because I guarantee you will not get better service and at the end of the day Ann is well worth every penny .

As first time Rover customers, we knew our dog was in great hands with Anne. She watched Daisy for several days and kept in touch with daily video and picture updates that reassured us as we traveled. Despite our young Springer's often high energy antics, Anne’s spacious fenced-in yard gave Daisy plenty of space to run under Anne's watchful eye. We wouldn't hesitate to have Anne care for Daisy again.

I work from home so it’s a perfect situation for caring for your dog or cat while you’re away! They will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of outdoor time and personal attention.

I will care for your pets as I would my own. They will have an amazing Zen Garden to explore that is secured and fenced for their safety. Your pet is welcome in any part of my home nowhere is off limits !
A typical day
The Southern Zen is a thoughtfully curated playground for your furry friends! With a Japanese-style foot bridge , boulders and garden beds it transforms into an excellent agility course or the perfect setting for a game of hide-and-seek. I enjoy being outdoors and engaging with your pets to keep them stimulated and feeling content.
