I have cared for dogs and cats, of all kind, since I was a child. I have always had them in my life, usually rescued. I was a foster mom for a Pug rescue out of Kansas City for several years, and cared for Pugs of all ages, and from various backgrounds, including puppymills. I have a lot of experience with socializing dogs from abusive and neglectful situations, caring for dogs with health issues such as diabetes/blindness, and dogs needing various medications. I have rescued many dogs that have been abandoned, and found loving homes for them through home and vet checks. Caring for dogs and cats is my passion.

I would recommend Ann to anyone looking for a top notch dog sitter. She is a friendly, caring, reliable individual who obviously enjoys dogs as she has one senior dog of her own who gets the best of care. I appreciated Ann's quick response to my boarding request and that she was willing to invite Penny and I into her home for a detailed meet and greet. Drop off/pick up were hassle-free, and Ann sent fun, daily updates with photos. Penny hopes that the next time she needs a dog sitter, Ann will be available.

Schedule
I am currently a home maker with no children and pet sitting being my only occupation, so my schedule is very flexible, and I am usually home all day.

Safety, trust & environment
If I provide care for a pet in someone's home during the day, I would be happy to follow any and all instructions, and ensure they get the proper potty breaks needed, which my schedule would allow 2 per day (morning and late afternoon). I would also love to send daily updates with pictures so pet parents can see how happy and well cared for their pets are. If the pet is in my care at my home, I have a fenced back yard and dogs are let out multiple times a day for play and potty breaks. I am home all day so there would be no need to kennel them unless the owner requests it. I currently have an older Pug mix dog that is good with other dogs.

A typical day
When dogs stay with me, I love for them to be able to play with their favorite toys in my fenced back yard. If I care for a dog at their home, and if we go on walks, I want the walk to be enjoyable for them, allowing them time to smell their environment and just enjoy themselves. No rush. We are on dog time.
