EXTENDED STAY DISCOUNT: Planning a longer trip? I offer a reduced nightly house sitting rate of $122/night for stays of 10+ nights. The discounted rate is automatically applied when you submit your dates! 5+ MULTI PET HOUSEHOLD PRICING: If your household includes 5+ cats and/or dogs, you will receive small reduced additional pet pricing. This must be mentioned at the time of your initial request so I can review the care needs and adjust the total accordingly. Want complete peace of mind knowing your pets are in excellent hands? I’m Ann, a Star Sitter and senior nursing student at Normandale Community College with over 10 years of hands on pet care experience. I specialize in providing top tier, 1:1 care for all pets and bring a strong background in both animal care and medical knowledge. As a nursing student certified in CPR and Basic Life Support, I’m experienced administering oral, topical, and injectable medications and caring for pets with detailed medical or behavioral care plans. I’m confident working with dogs of all sizes, including giant breeds, as well as reactive, anxious, and high needs pets.

Safety, trust & environment

I make every effort to follow my clients instructions and preferences, as I believe no one knows their pet better than their parent. I follow each pet’s feeding, exercise, and medication routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and consistent in their environment. I make sure your home is secure after each visit by locking doors, ensuring kennels or crates are properly closed, and reactivating any security systems if applicable. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own, keeping it clean and tidy throughout my stay. I also provide regular updates with photos and videos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

Ann is absolutely wonderful! We have had some really awful experiences with other sitters in the past, so it's very hard for us to trust anyone with our babies. Ann arrived to the meet and greet with her own notes sheet, was very thorough, and asked great questions to make sure she had all the information she needed to keep their routines as normal as possible. Our boy has some crazy food preparation because of his IBD, and Ann was meticulous in making sure everything was just right for him. He also ended up needing a course of medication right before the stay started, and Ann had no problem with the addition of the twice-daily pill. I received photos and updates without having to ask, which really eased my mind and allowed me to actually enjoy my trip without having to wonder how things were going. Ann is so patient (not just with the babies, but with ME and all my baggage from those previous bad experiences) and very professional. Thank you Ann, for all your kindness and genuine care. I'm looking forward to you staying with our babies again!

Dog Walking • Aug 15, 2026

It's always great to have Ann walk my Howie! Howie is about 75 pounds and is reactive with other dogs, so I will ask walkers to try their best to steer away from crossing other dogs' paths. Ann does this every time and gives me an update on Howie did on the walk. I greatly appreciate her.

Ann did great watching out two dogs! She sent updates daily with pictures and always checked in. She was super flexible when we had some last minute schedule changes and was so accommodating! She is great!!

Schedule

I offer drop in visits, dog walking, and overnight house sitting, with every visit tailored to your pet’s individual routine and needs. Beginning in late August, my availability will vary as I complete my final semester of nursing school, including clinical rotations, simulations, and coursework. Because my schedule changes throughout the semester, I will be taking on a more limited number of bookings. Please message me with your travel dates so I can review my schedule and confirm availability for your specific week. This allows me to continue providing the personalized, dependable care my clients expect while completing my nursing education. HOUSE SITTING: I need bookings where pets are comfortable with me coming and going throughout the day as needed for school and other commitments. Outside of occasional clinical days, I typically return throughout the day and do not leave pets alone for extended periods. I generally do not offer constant care; however, I may consider select one night weekend constant care stays depending on availability, with rates starting at $400 per 24 hours. CHRISTMAS HOUSE SITTING: Availability between December 18–30 is limited, and I will only be accepting stays of 4 nights or longer during this period. Bookings that overlap with Christmas Eve or Christmas Day are subject to an additional $50/night Christmas premium for the entire stay, beyond my listed holiday rate. I recommend reaching out early for availability. Complimentary meet & greets are always included to ensure we’re the right fit for one another. I look forward to connecting. Thanks!

Please share any special needs, medical requirements, or behavioral concerns before booking to ensure I'm the right fit for your pet. Please let me know how long your pet is comfortable being left alone, as this is important in determining whether I’m the right fit. I generally do not provide constant care, though select one night weekend constant care stays may be considered starting at $400 per 24 hours. Out of respect for my time and yours, please let me know if you’re exploring other care options or meeting with other sitters. Reactivity & Aggression: Has your dog ever lunged, growled, snapped at, or bitten a person or another animal under any circumstances, including while on leash, behind a fence, or guarding food, toys, or other items? Leash Behavior: How does your dog typically react when seeing another dog, cat, wildlife, or unfamiliar person on a walk? Do they pull, bark, freeze, growl, or lunge? Handling Restrictions: Are there any areas your dog dislikes being touched or handled, such as their paws, collar, face, or hind end? Do they resist being moved, redirected, leashed, or guided into a room or crate? Spay/Neuter & High Arousal Behavior: Is your dog spayed/neutered? Have they exhibited mounting, indoor marking, excessive barking, jumping, grabbing at clothing/hands, or other high arousal behaviors when excited, stressed, or overstimulated? Please note: My puppy rate applies to all dogs under 2 years old. Medication administration (oral and topical) is included at no additional charge. Injections are $5 per day, per pet.
