Every dog or cat has their own personality, quirks, and needs. I've had pets my entire life and people say I'm a dog whisperer. I'm not really...I just understand what motivates them (treats, love, or praise) and I work with that. My dogs and cats were always like family, and I treat other people's pets like family. I worry about mine when I'm away, so I want people to know that I understand those feelings and that their pets are in good hands. I've also had rodents and reptiles, so I can watch after them too. I do this work simply because I love animals and exercise, so this is perfect. Socialization with new people and reinforcing training material (like basic commands) is mentally beneficial for pets too. Lastly, I'm a retired government employee, so I've had quite the variety of background checks - you will find me honest, reliable and committed.
