Animals come first!
Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I have truly never known life without a dog by my side! Over the years, I have cared for a variety of animals, including rabbits, birds, horses, cows, fresh and salt water fish, chickens, reptiles, and cats, but dogs have always held a very special place in my heart. My friends and family often joke that when they pass away, they want to come back as one of my dogs because of how much love, attention, and care I give them! And truthfully, they're not wrong! My dogs are family, and their happiness, comfort, and well-being have always been a top priority. Beyond caring for my own pets, I have volunteered with local animal rescues and adoption organizations. Friends and family have also trusted me over the years to care for their beloved pets. I have experience managing multiple dogs at once, as well as working with dogs who have reactive behaviors. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, individual needs, and their own way of communicating. After working from home for many years, I recently retired and now have the flexibility to dedicate more of my time to something I genuinely love—caring for animals! For me, becoming a Rover sitter isn't just about spending time with dogs (although that's a pretty wonderful perk!). It's about giving pet parents peace of mind, knowing their furry family members are being cared for with the same love, patience, attention, and respect that I give my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved pet in someone else's care, and I would consider it a privilege to be that person for you! 🐾❤️

My home is truly a dog lover's paradise! I have a fully fenced-in yard, along with a separate, dedicated outdoor space just for the dogs that includes both a deck and grassy area. When I'm home, my dogs enjoy the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor spaces through doggie doors, allowing them to play, explore, or simply relax whenever they choose. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who attend doggie daycare one half-day each week to maintain their socialization skills. They are also comfortable with crates, so I understand the importance of providing a safe, comfortable environment that accommodates each dog's individual needs and routines. Daily walks are a priority in our home, and I walk my dogs at least twice a day, along with plenty of playtime, affection, and attention. I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved, and completely at home. My world truly revolves around my two fur babies and their happiness, and I would extend that same level of love, patience, and personalized care to yours! Whether caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is always to maintain their routine, respect their individual needs, and give you peace of mind knowing they're being treated like family.

Ann P. is an awesome "Dog Mom" and loves them with all her heart. My 4 year old Frenchie is always excited to be around her. He is high energy, but listens carefully to Ann when she speaks to him in a loving and caring way. She puts her all into everything that she does! She's just an awesome person!
Over the years Ann has owned many pets, mostly dogs. She currently has two French bulldogs. Ann’s pets have become part of her family. She has provided and continues to provide safe and loving care to all her pets. Early every morning I see Ann walking her dogs around her neighborhood. Her dogs live in a clean and safe environment. My wife and I also have a French bulldog, that gets along very well with Ann. She is a responsible, compassionate and a loving care giver. She is an awesome human being. I would recommend her without any reservation.

I have known Ann for over 24 years. In those 24 years she has always had a dog by her side. This women would be great for taking care of any type of dog whether that be just letting them out, taking them on a walk or playing with them.

Schedule
I recently retired and am fortunate to have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for animals. I currently have two fur babies of my own and also help care for one of my son's dogs. As their primary caregiver, my daily routine naturally revolves around their needs, including feeding, exercise, playtime, and lots of love and attention! Caring for dogs is already such a big and rewarding part of my everyday life, so incorporating additional pet care into my schedule feels like a perfect fit. I truly enjoy spending my days with animals and love having the flexibility to give each pet the time, patience, and individualized attention they deserve.

- Getting to know your pet before caring for them is extremely important to me! Every animal has its own unique personality, needs, routines, and little quirks, and I want to make sure I understand yours so I can provide the best possible care. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I would love to know about any allergies, medical conditions, medications, resource-guarding tendencies, behavioral triggers, or fears. Does your pet get nervous around strangers, other animals, thunderstorms, or loud noises? Are there certain situations that make them anxious or uncomfortable? Knowing these things ahead of time helps me create a safe, positive, and stress-free experience. Just as importantly, I want to know what makes your pet happy! What are their favorite toys, games, treats, and activities? What helps calm or comfort them when they're feeling anxious? Do they have a favorite place to nap or a special routine they enjoy? I would also love to know what treats or rewards you approve of, their typical feeding schedule, and how much exercise they are accustomed to. For dogs, understanding how long they comfortably enjoy walking and any physical limitations is especially important. I believe the little details make a big difference! My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine as much as possible while making sure they feel safe, understood, comfortable, and loved. The more I know about your furry family member, the better I can care for them as if they were my own!
