Peaceful Country Setting

Nestled in the quiet countryside, I offer loving, in-home boarding for dogs and cats in a peaceful, natural setting. With plenty of fresh air, daily walks, and attentive care, your pets are treated like family while they’re away from home. Able to care for animals at all stages in their life. I love taking long walks with canine companions! Your dogs will not be unleashed on a walk unless your specify!

If I could add an extra star to this rating, I would! Ann and Greg went above and beyond for us in a devastating time of need. I would rebook with them in a heartbeat!

Schedule

A client’s cat or dog fits naturally into my daily routine because their care is built around their needs, not a rigid schedule. Each day follows a calm, predictable flow—morning feedings, medications if needed, fresh air, walks or supervised outdoor time for dogs, and quiet check-ins or play for cats—mirroring what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. Throughout the day, I weave in one-on-one attention, enrichment, rest, and observation, so pets aren’t just “fit in,” but thoughtfully included in a rhythm that keeps them comfortable, engaged, and well cared for from morning to night.

Safety, trust & environment

Tailoring your services starts with seeing each pet as an individual, not a “one-size-fits-all” guest. Begin with a detailed intake or meet-and-greet to learn the pet’s routine, personality, energy level, medical needs, fears, and preferences. From there, you can adjust care in a few key ways: • Routine-based care: Match feeding times, walk schedules, playtime, and sleep habits as closely as possible to what the pet is used to at home. • Personality-aware handling: Offer extra quiet and space for shy or senior pets, more structured play and exercise for high-energy dogs, and gentle, low-stress interactions for anxious animals. • Health-focused support: Follow specific instructions for medications, mobility limits, special diets, or senior care, and keep careful notes so nothing is missed. • Environment choices: Decide whether a pet thrives with social interaction or prefers solo time, indoor lounging, or outdoor exploration in your country setting.

Pets

A typical day

I'll keep your pets happy and engaged with activities that feel fun, natural, and suited to who they are. Dogs can enjoy relaxed country walks, sniff-and-explore adventures, supervised outdoor play, gentle games of fetch or tug, and quiet bonding time like brushing or sitting together after a walk. Cats get interactive play with wand toys or laser chases, window time to watch birds, cozy hide-and-seek games, puzzle feeders, and calm companionship for pets who prefer affection over action. Every activity is chosen to match the pet’s energy, age, and personality—so play feels joyful, not overwhelming, and each animal ends the day content, exercised, and secure

Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know the details that help them feel safe, comfortable, and understood. This includes their daily routine (feeding times, walks, naps), diet and any food sensitivities, medications or health conditions, and how they usually behave around new people, animals, or environments. It’s also helpful to know their personality quirks—what comforts them, what stresses them, favorite toys or games, and any fears like loud noises or storms. Understanding training cues, house rules, and emergency vet information ahead of time allows you to care for each pet confidently and keep their stay calm, happy, and consistent with what they’re used to at home
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
