Ann took wonderful care of my diabetic westie. It's difficult to find a place that will care for a diabetic & also knows what they are doing. Ann is a nurse and really knew how to care for my dog. Ann was very detailed in writing down any instructions I gave her & she also kept me updated via text messages with my dog's testing numbers & health. I would never hesitate to leave my ...

Pet Vacation Spot

Would you like to go on vacation and know that your pet is not spending the entire time you are away in a cage? My husband Terry and I offer dog or cat boarding in our home, and your pet is treated like a part of our family. We will follow your at-home schedule to keep your pet comfortable. We will feed the food you bring with your pet. We will give medications that you ...

What Ann would like to know about your dog

I want to know all of the details that will help me make your dog more comfortable while visiting. We want to keep your home routine as similar as possible for the dog. This makes them comfortable. The more comfortable and happy your pet is, the happier I am, and the happier you are.

Examples:
Where does your dog sleep?
When does your dog eat, and how much?
When are normal bio breaks outside?
Is your pet spayed/neutered?
Are they current on vaccinations? I'll need a copy of shot records for your pet's file.

What sort of dogs do I like?? I like ALL nice dogs. Nice dogs come in all breeds.

When Ann watches your pet

Exercise:
We walk dogs around our neighborhood, and at the dog park over by the Highway Patrol building. We also play a lot of frisbee, fetch and tugger in the back yard!

Sleeping Arrangements:
We have a room set aside as the Dog Bedroom. Most dogs that stay with us sleep in a crate or a playpen.

Time spent with your dog:
It depends on your dog. The dogs that stay with us, STAY with us except at night when everyone goes to bed. My husband and I both work, and we utilize playpens inside for working hours. When we are home, our dogs, and any guest dogs are with us, whatever we may be doing.
