Pet care experience

Ann, retired teacher and dog lover.

I live with my my husband Simon and our nine year old Schnoodle (we think) called Charlie. We have had dogs all our lives as well as caring for friends and family dogs for many years. We love to go walking and our house is ideally placed, with many beautiful walks on our doorstep. We have experience of diabetes, Addison's disease etc., if needed, but if all your dog wants is cuddles we are happy to oblige. Whatever your dog needs, we will ensure they have an amazing holiday with us.

Ann looked after my cocker spaniel, Willow from Friday to Sunday whilst we were away. We had met to ensure the dogs were ok with each other beforehand. Good communication from Ann throughout with lots of pictures and updates. Willow was well taken care of and had a good time. We would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic care by Ann ans Simon. They took great care, and really thought about what would make her happy on her stay. Winnie was a little sad to leave when it was time to say goodbye. I couldn’t recommend Ann enough!

I cannot recommend Ann highly enough to any pet parent looking for excellent care. She looked after our dog, Willow, who has specific medical conditions, and Ann handled everything brilliantly. Dealing with a pet who has health needs requires a lot of trust, and Ann completely put our minds at ease. Ann made sure Willow had an amazing time, taking her on lovely walks through the countryside. She was also thoughtful enough to send us photo updates along the way, which we absolutely loved receiving. The real proof, though, is in Willow’s reaction. Whenever she sees Ann and her husband, Simon, she’s all wags and licks. Anyone would be lucky to have her look after their pet. Shelley, John & Willow 🐾

Ann and Simon have always taken excellent care of their dogs. We have a dog with particularly challenging dog reactivity and for a long time before it got under control they were the only people who we were confident to leave him with, knowing he would be safe.

Ann has looked after my dog on multiple occasions and I wouldn’t have a bad word to say. She takes each individual dog’s needs into account, making sure my spoilt pooch still got everything she needed, even sleeping in their bed! Ann loves to go walking and so my dog got plenty of exercise and I always felt confident Ann would walk her responsibly. I got lots of puppy updates and she always looked so happy, which is no surprise given Ann’s loving nature. I couldn’t recommend Ann enough to look after your dog!!

We have known Ann B for almost 30 years as neighbours and friends, often looking after each other’s dogs who grew up together. One example is Ann caring for our Border Terrier for over 7 weeks when we were in Australia, coping with an unexpected cruciate ligament tear requiring specialist care giving and medication. A professional and responsible person, who can cope with unexpected circumstances in addition to showing love and attention. Highly recommended.
