Lifelong animal lover and owner
Having never grown up in a home without at least 2 pets I understand how precious they are and how much care and attention they require. Pet care has always been part of daily life and I also enjoyed volunteering with a dog shelter all throughout middle and high school where I helped with feeding, cleaning, walking and bathing. I’ve also informally helped friends and neighbors by looking after their pets when they’re away. I understand how important it is to know your pet is in kind, reliable hands, and I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I’m happy to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away!

Anke was very responsive and took good care of our dog for two overnight stays. She was quick to reply and quickly adapted to our last minute stay request. She provided updates and photos. I would rebook with Anke. :)

Schedule
Although I do work throughout the day and available all evenings, overnights and the weekends. I am available for walks, boarding, and in home pet care whenever needed. As my schedule is flexible same day appointments or cancellations are not a concern.

While I have an unfenced backyard I live close to parks and open spaces convenient for walking and playtime. I also have a cat who has spent a lot of time with and is comfortable around dogs

A typical day
I live an active lifestyle myself and enjoy spending time outside. Playing outside, walks, going for a hike or going to parks are all things we can incorporate in your pets stay if they require more activity during the day.
