I've been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, and I shared over 22 wonderful years with my cat before she passed just two months shy of her 23rd birthday. My bond with animals runs deep. Interestingly, when I was just 2 years old, I was attacked by a small hound mix. While that experience could have made me fearful of dogs, it had the opposite effect. I was confused by what happened, and as I grew older, I became determined to understand why. That curiosity led me to learn more about dog behavior. I'm not a certified expert, but over the years I've developed a strong ability to read dogs' cues and respond to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I've cared for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. If you have a puppy you're currently training, I'm happy to help reinforce your training while they're with me. I've trained several of my own dogs and understand the importance of consistency. For senior dogs who require medication or extra care, I'm experienced and attentive to their needs.
