Growing up with pets wasn’t just a childhood phase for me - it was where I learned deep responsibility and love for animals. Since I was 10, I cared for my family's two dogs (and later their puppy!!) handling their daily feeding, bathing, and walks. During COVID lockdowns, I took full, solo responsibility for their care, building a strong foundation in dog behavior, safety, and routine management. Now based in NYC, I’m a part-time college student with an exceptionally flexible schedule. Being at home for much of the day means your dog will have constant companionship, frequent potability breaks, and uninterrupted attention. My apartment is located right at the East Village triangle, directly across from a beautiful church with a tranquil garden for serene walks, and just steps away from local dog parks for socialization and energetic play. Caring for dogs isn't just a side job for me - it genuinely brings me joy. Over the past 2+ years of boarding and sitting, I’ve built a loyal community of repeat clients who keep in touch and return whenever they travel. Take a look at my profile photos! Anji was great! Super easy to communicate with and clearly took great care of my dog. When I came back to pick him up at 9pm she was coincidentally out throwing the frisbee late at night with him which was a great sign of how dedicated she is. She took great photos and our dog was in a great mood on pickup. Excited to have Anji help us soon again!
Anji is great!! She’s very flexible, caring and kind. Dodo had a blast and we’d definitely have her again!

Anji is the best! She took incredible care of my dog, was super responsive, and sent tons of photos and updates throughout. She was also very accommodating and easy to work with. It’s clear she treats every dog like her own, and I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such good hands. My dog looked so happy in every photo. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

Schedule
I am currently a student at NYU and am looking for part-time jobs. Other than school work, I am free after school and on weekends to meet and play with your lovely pets.

I have had experience dog-sitting for friends and doing drop-in visits while they are on vacation. My friends have often asked or even offered to pay me to train their dogs and teach them tricks. Due to my personal experience with dogs, I have my own way of getting to know your furry friends and being good friends with them.
A typical day
When watching pets, I enjoy taking them on adventurous walks, engaging in playful fetch sessions, and teaching them fun tricks. I also love creating interactive puzzle games to keep their minds active and offer plenty of belly rubs for relaxation. Each pet gets individual attention, tailored to their personality, ensuring they have as much fun as I do while they’re in my care. Whether it’s chasing bubbles or exploring new trails, I always make sure the time we spend together is filled with excitement and bonding moments. Their happiness and comfort are my top priorities!
