Animal Lover 🐶🐰🐹
Hi, I’m Anja. I grew up in the country side right next to a farm with all kinds of animals. My first own pet was a panda hamster which I got when I was only 7 years old. Until I left home for Uni I had 4 hamsters and 5 bunnies. My favorite one is still my little black bunny Coffee. Penny, my grandma’s little poodle has been enjoying my company since I’ve been small too. She’s thankfully still around to keep my grandma fit. Living in London now I miss cuddling and otherwise interacting with these little fluff balls. I stumbled across this website and hence thought: this is the perfect chance to be more outside again and enjoy a fluffy’s doggie’s company. Furthermore, I work quite a lot and animals have always calmed me down. Hence, if I can help a doggie be more outside having fun while he/she is calming me down, I’d be extremely happy :) I’ve been looking after multiple dogs since the pandemic on BorrowMyDoggie and been house sitting at my friend’s place with his Golden Retriever every other month. I personally love Whippets and will hopefully be getting my own soon 🐶 I’m looking forward to meet you and your lovely other fluffy half. Anja

Anja is so great with Stella. It was a tough sit on fireworks night as Stella does get upset. I am so very grateful to Anja for comforting Stella and taking great care of her 🥰

Anja is a great sitter and has been so fantastic with taking care of Stella, with plenty of walks, play and cuddles. Anja always provides me with updates during the day and I sense Stella feels super at home with her. We will be back!
We were really lucky to meet Anja! When she first met our dog he went to see her straight away (something he rarely does being a very shy rescue dog) - we could already feel the how caring she is! She also asked us all the relevant questions related to Mecho’s care before we left. We left completely assured and with peaceful mind that our Mecho is in great hands. Anja diligently updated us while we were away and we received amazing photos of our Mecho! We truly felt like our boy was also on vacation and was having as much fun as we did! We can only highly recommend Anja and we look forward to see her again soon!
Anja was amazing with my little Rufus! We met for a meet and greet before she took care of him and he felt comfortable with her straight away. Anja was very communicative and always kept me updated with lots of pictures of Rufus which I really liked. Rufus also loved spending time with Anja and was very happy and content when he came home 🥰
Anja was amazing!...she took wonderful care of my beloved 11 year old spaniel who - I think - had a better time with Anja in her beautiful home, than at my place!! ? Anja was very contentious and happy to give all the medication and attention my pooch needed! I received loads of lovely pup updates to reassure me all was good ? I would definitely recommend Anja as our experience has been great! Thanks so much Anja! xx

Schedule
I’m currently working full time three days from home, the days are flexible. In summer I travel a bit but this calms down during the colder months.

Safety, trust & environment
I just moved into a penthouse apartment with a huge terrace your dog can rest on. There are plenty small parks around the building for potty breaks. The dogs I’ve been caring for usually like to rest on the carpet between the couch and TV when I’m in the living room, or on the little foot fur under my desk when I work from home in my room.
A typical day
Depending on what your dog likes to do I’m happy to play any games in the park or garden. Fetch ball, pull the rope, frisbee, whatever your dog likes. If they’re more on the quiet side I’m happy to play hide with some treats :)
