Hi, dogs are probably my favourite creatures and have experience sitting and boarding all different breeds and temperaments. We used to have one ourselves and he was the sweetest dog. I am an academic working from home in a house with a garden. I have a car and I’m very flexible too. We have an array of toys at home so no need to bring much (apart from fab toys). I try and limit boarding and walking to one dog at a time or maybe two if they come as a pair as I want to go for quality over quantity and I find that with some doggies (particularly the younger ones) it’s good to keep an eye on them. I do not walk off lead with dogs, that said I have a 50m lead which allows for off-lead-type fun but without fear of recall issues. I like to go running and cycling with my current canine buddies regularly. A typical day will involve walks (one in the morning around midday or in the evening) and mental stimulation games (such as KONG and puzzles). I have two gentle kids who miss having a dog in the house. My prices will reveal that this is more about my eternal love of pooches rather than making a living of it. Anja is great, she communicates well and is very kind and clearly loves animals. She sent lots of updates throughout the day with photos so that we could see how Winnie was. I felt very happy leaving Winnie in her capable hands and have already booked again
I can't say enough great things about Anja and the care she provided for my dog, Dax. From the very first meeting, I knew Dax was in the best hands. Anja is not only incredibly trustworthy, but she also has a natural connection with animals that immediately put both me and Dax at ease. She was attentive to Dax’s needs, followed his routine to the letter, and kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos that truly gave me peace of mind. I could tell she genuinely cared for him—not just as a client’s dog, but as if he were her own. What stood out most was her calm, responsible nature. Whether it was a long walk, medication at just the right time, or simply some cuddle time on the couch, Anja made sure Dax felt safe, loved, and happy every single day. It’s rare to find someone so reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable when it comes to pet care. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to trust Anja with Dax again—and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional, heart-driven care for their furry family member.
Alfie stayed with Anja for 5 nights which is the longest we have left him. He had a great time with Anja and Toby. Anja sent regular updates and it was clear that he was in safe hands. We had to drag Alfie down the drive when we took him home because he wanted to stay and play some more!!
Had a fantastic experience leaving my two with anja. We recieved regular pictures and updates and they went on a really long country walk on the Saturday. My two loved playing with her dog too. Would highly recommend.
Anja was great , she went above and beyond to make sure that Charlie enjoyed his stay , kept me updated .would highly recommend
Our puppy loved her day with Anja and Toby and Anja made me feel at ease with leaving her! Regular updates were sent and I after just 1 visit I am sure I'd be confident to leave our pup with her again! (Already booking!) Anja is professional but also very friendly, highly recommend!

I have a fenced large garden and all the dog gear one could possibly need- from a crate to beds and toys (including some agility equipment).
A typical day
Your doggy will hang out with me all day long. I am working from home and will happily interrupt work for toilet break walks, play sessions and extra snuggles :)
