Your Pup Is Like Family! Big Yard!
I have taken care of other people's dogs for over 19 years and I signed up on Rover because I would like to welcome dogs in my home more often now that we work from home and have a more flexible schedule. My husband and I have one dog named Millie and she is a friendly 6 year old beagle/lab mix. Millie enjoys the company of other dogs and would welcome a companion and playmate. Our kids are grown and we are in the empty nest phase with plenty of time and energy to care for your pup! We have a wonderful large fenced backyard with plenty of room for your dog to run and explore. We can take your dog on long walks or hikes everyday as we do lead an active lifestyle. However we will accommodate your dog accordingly. There is someone at home almost the entire day. We treat your pet as our own family, and every dog we have watched has been happy, comfortable and excited to come back! The profile says up to 100 pounds but we prefer to stay around 75 pounds and below but we look at each case individually. Please note we cannot board Husky breeds due to an allergy of a family member at this time. We also prefer moderate to low energy dogs at this time so please note if your pup is listed as high energy. We look forward to a meet and greet!

Anita and her family (including their sweet pup, Millie) took amazing care of our dog! We were away for 11 days, and when we came back, Oslo was clearly at ease in their home, having received lots of exercise and snuggles. Anita was super communicative, regularly sending photos of Oslo having a great time; she was also generous with her time to schedule not just a meet n greet but a playdate with our dogs before Oslo's long stay to make sure everyone did well. We will absolutely be return clients, and would strongly recommend Anita to anyone who wants the best for their furry family.
Anita was wonderful with my dog. I received photos of my dog everyday and updates about his day. She was incredibly communicative and kind when he needed a little extra TLC. Lots of fun walks and running around. Her dog and mine got along great and I know my dog is missing his play buddy now that he is back home!
Anita took excellent care of our dog Tyson. He came back clean, super healthy and happy and not stressed one bit. The pictures and updates were super appreciated and he looked so cuddly and comfortable.
My dog Ralph had a wonderful time with Anita and it was clear he was well cared for! She did a great job communicating how things were going, shared some pictures of him while I was away, and her dog Millie is an absolute sweetheart who seems to have gotten along great with Ralph!

Schedule
We are very flexible for drop off and pick up times. We are home the majority of the week and we like to take our dog and any visiting dog on walks and hikes.

We have a wonderful large fenced backyard with plenty of room for the dogs to run, play and explore. We have mature trees and grass and a deck that is all on the main level. In the evenings we spend our time in the kitchen and family room relaxing and snuggling with the pups!
Pets
A typical day
Fun activities include hiking in the nearby trails like Eldorado and the Boulder area. We have extensive walking pathways and open space in our neighborhood too. Dogs love to run and explore in our large back yard! We also play fetch with a ball for the dogs that love to play!
