Experienced pet care - dogs, cats.
Having pets was a big part of my life, it was always wonderful to come back home to loving pets. I always had special connection with each pet, they brought love and laughter to our home. It was wonderful to come home to our four legged friends who loved you unconditionally. I miss them all every day. We often take care of our neighbours pets while they are on vacation - this is why I decided that maybe it would be a good idea to have spend more time with pets.

Anita is great! My dog can be quite nervous and she made her feel totally at home. She also was super responsive and sent quite a few updates.
We had an amazing experience with Anita & Matt! They took such great care of my cat and treated them like their own. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My cat came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. They were reliable, kind, and attentive throughout the entire stay. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, and I’ll definitely be booking with them again! Anita and Matt were very good to look after my little husky. She came back a happy dog and I was at ease knowing she was in good hands. They were responsive and flexible as I was delayed an hour in picking her up.
Anita is absolutely amazing! Casey and I had a meet and greet with Anita before his first stay. I could tell immediately, by the questions Anita asked to learn more about Casey, that he would be in excellent hands with her. Anita's warmth and approachability made Casey very comfortable and relaxed in her home. We met Matt too and he and Casey hit off immediately as well. We just got back from Casey's first official visit with Anita and he had a fabulous time with her. Their home was all set up to welcome him and he was thrilled to see her again. Anita sent pictures and updates while Casey was visiting and it was clear that they were having a good time together at the park. I felt incredibly comfortable leaving Casey with Anita and will definitely be booking more visits soon!
Anita and Matt took such great care of our cat. They gave consistent updates and you can tell the level of care they put into Ollie's stay. It took a couple days for Ollie to warm up as it would for any cat, but soon after I can tell she loved being with Anita and Matt. They respected her boundaries and made her feel very comfortable. She didn't want to come home when we picked her up! I would book with Anita and Matt again in a heartbeat!

I have just retired and until now have had very busy life. My dream always was that once I retired I would have more time to spend with animals.

Safety, trust & environment
We have no pets right now, but our house is big enough to accommodate pets. The backyard is fenced, so dog could stay with me. I would make sure that animals are not alone since we sometime are having visitors such as raccoons and squirrels.
A typical day
While at home I would show cats or dogs toys and while playing and being around with them I always keep conversation (love watching their reactions :)). While walking with dogs, I would let them smell new area, so they could feel safe and happy.
