I quit my full time corporate job last year to dedicate time looking after dogs so my availability is open from Monday - Sunday. This enables me to spend quality time giving your pet attention for their required needs.

To ensure the best service, an idea of boundaries within your home would be essential. I want to allow the dog to be in their safe space but still respect the home. With a safely kitted out dog friendly car, this will allow me to take them to all the best dog parks available. Alternatively, if your doggie would rather go on walks on their own, there are some amazing walks near by. As a volunteer at an animal sanctuary, I have resources at hand should this be required. As Ofqual Certified Dog first aider and CPR, you can be assured your dog is in the safest hands.

That could come in the forms of plenty of long walks with a ball or their favourite pet, to being cuddled on the sofa, to short walks until they are ready to come back to getting them involved in activities. Mad about the dog
Pet care experience
I have loved dogs and the pureness they bring so this made me want to dedicate more of my life to be around them and understand them. I have since been volunteering at an animal sanctuary learning more about behaviours and and gained valuable insights into dogs needs and care. As well as the boarding dogs to give them some company and walks to spending time with the resident dogs and creating a bond with the more temperamental dogs, to assessing which dogs are able to mix together to form some new friends. Each dog is different so spending the time to understand their needs and for some dogs, their triggers to help and nurture them to be more comfortable around me and their surroundings. With every dog I'm around, I ensure to make them feel as safe as possible so they can be their happy authentic self whilst living their best doggie life, be it getting enough exercise, getting all the attention, little treats and having another trusted friend around. As a thank you for trusting me with your dog, please use this code ANITAD01617 to get £15 off your first booking.
Reviews

We can’t recommend Anita highly enough! She stepped in at the very last minute after we were unexpectedly let down by another sitter, and she was an absolute lifesaver. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, kind, and incredibly loving towards our three Fox Ref Labradors and our Cavachon. It was clear straight away that she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. She gave them daily walks, lots of attention and affection, and kept them happy and settled while we were away. We really appreciated the daily updates, which gave us complete peace of mind. She also left our home clean and tidy, which was such a lovely touch. The boys absolutely adored her, and we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to use her again. Thank you, Anita, for being so caring and dependable, you truly went above and beyond!💖

Kenny loved his walks with Anita, she’s amazing and really good with dogs, will 100% rebook again. Really accommodating, as booked the walkies last minute - thank you!

Missy's reaction when Anita turns up says it all, she loves her! She is always excited to have time with Anita and Anita's care and consideration of Missy's excitable nature means she is/has been calm and settled for all of the overnight stays.

This was our first time using a house/dog sitter allowing us to take a holiday abroad. Anita was very responsive to messages and even visited us twice before our booking to ensure our dog (a needy Vizsla!) was comfortable around her. Anita was accommodating to our needs/requests and also took on the task of looking after our other animals (lovebirds, budgie, guinea pig, rabbit and fish) during a week away. She sent regular messages and pictures to update us on holiday which was great as we were able to relax. Came back to a clean and tidy house and a good handover from Anita. Overall a good first experience. We will def use the service again.
