booked Anita for an 8-day stay a few days in advance. Everything was going smoothly, even after she informed me that Benito had bitten her. She explained that Benito appeared anxious but remained calm afterward. She described the bite as minor. A day later, I received a notification from Rover that Anita had reported the bite (which is understandable). However, the issue arose when Anita informed me that Rover had automatically canceled the booking, leaving her without compensation for the visits. I been in Europe and can’t make calls to the US, which Anita was aware of. Consequently, I decided to pay to make the call to Rover since I needed to find an alternative sitter. Rover explained that Anita had reported the bite, and it was severe enough that she needed medical attention. They also clarified that the booking had never been canceled, and Anita would still receive payment since she felt comfortable continuing the sit. I called Anita again, but she refused to continue. I told her that she could call Rover to confirm but kept saying it was cancelled. Later, she mentioned that she was almost 2 hours away and that it wasn’t convenient for her. However, it’s important to note that Anita was hired to house sit, which meant she was supposed to stay overnight at the house. Therefore, out of the 8-day stay, she only completed two days. I will never book Anita again, not because she was bitten and reported it (which is understandable), but because she was blaming the app when clearly, the app records every report. If I hadn’t called, I would have lost my money, and my fur baby would have stayed alone. I strongly advise against booking Anita.

Anita is my wife and when I tell you she is wildly obsessed with animals. I’ve never seen someone so devoted to being sure that animals feel loved. Our two will never ever go without. They even eat before she does! Lol couldn’t recommend anyone better!

She is very loving, and caring for animals. She volunteers at any local shelter she can. I personally have left my animals with her because I trust nobody else!
