I work full-time with a flexible hybrid job - I can accommodate my schedule to fit the needs of a dog - whether that means being home the whole week or spending half days at work. I do go to the gym in evenings but can accommodate by working out at home. When I dog-sit, I will tailor my schedule to the dog’s needs - they will provided at minimum 2 long walks a day or several short ones if it is a puppy.

I would like to know any particularities regarding reactivity (dogs, people, cats, other small animals), what the dog likes/dislikes and any special needs that are to be taken into consideration.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for long walks (according to their fitness), play games with them, do some basic obedience to stimulate them mentally and give them access to interactive toys. If it is possible, I like to take dogs on hikes further out of the city.

I’ve been around dogs for most of my life - I’ve been actively caring for dogs since I was 12. I have experience with big, reactive dogs as well as smaller dogs. I am extremely passionate about dog behaviour and am always looking to learn more. I have done a lot of dogsitting for people for dogs with various needs. I am extremely patient with dogs and will employ positive reinforcement. I have trained puppies and have also cared for my own pup in his senior years.

Anikke a pris grand soin de notre Sooky. Il est très anxieux et nerveux. Elle a su le rassurer et le calmer. Anikke est une gardienne exceptionnelle. Nous sommes très satisfaits du séjour qu’il a passé avec elle.
Notre Woody est tellement heureux avec Anikke et son Winston!! Winston est calme ce qui rend mon chien plus calme aussi et le rassure. Je pars toujours l'esprit tranquille!
Annike a été très bonne avec Zaho. J’ai pu recevoir plein de photos durant son séjour. Elle semblait bien apprécier son séjour.
C’est la 3e fois que Theo va chez Annike et encore une fois il a adoré son séjour (je sens toujours qu’il est déçu de rentrer avec moi ce qui est bon signe). Il va revenir :) J’ai l’esprit tranquille de laisser mon chien car je sais qu’il va s’amuser et sera en securité.
