I’m confident handling energetic, loud, or even more challenging dogs, and I always strive to make every pet feel safe, loved, and cared for.

Anika is certainly a caring, compassionate, animal lover, but beyond that she is someone you can trust to treat your animal as her own. I know Anika grew up alongside several beloved family pets - dogs and cats alike and has even extended her animal care to having her own leopard gecko. Most recently, though, Anika supported me several times by caring for my elderly cat Cookie during some of her last months. Knowing Cookie's age and need for interaction/socialization, Anika spent a lot of time with Cookie, keeping her comfortable and feeling safe - which is just what she needed during those times. Cookie also was on a more complicated diet regimen due to her health and age and needed intake/output monitoring which Anika took responsibility for no problem. I would recommend Anika to anyone.

Schedule
I’m currently a student-athlete at Northern Michigan University, and my schedule is very flexible since I’m taking two online classes. I’m up early every morning for swim practice, which makes it easy for me to keep your pets on their regular routine and give them the attention they need throughout the day.

In my client’s home, I make sure to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. That includes regular feeding times, plenty of playtime, walks, and of course, lots of love and attention. I’m also very mindful of keeping your home tidy and respecting any specific instructions you leave for me.
