I am a very clean and neat person, I will leave your home as clean or cleaner than when I came in. I want you to feel comfortable with me in your home and I will abide to any rules that are given to me. I have no issue cleaning up after your pet and cleaning litter boxes. In my home I have a backyard with shady spots that are ideal for senior or larger dogs who may not love the sun. I live on a quiet street, 5 minutes away from a large park that many dogs would love!

If you have any special requests you would like me to do with your pet I am happy to follow! If your cat or dog is nervous or anxious please let me know and I will keep them as comfortable as possible. If you have a reactive dog please allow me to do a meet and greet before I confirm any services. If your pet needs medication I would also request a meet and greet so you can show me how to administer the medication.
A typical day
Each pet has different needs and I want to cater to each pet individually. For dogs I would love to take them on a walk, play with toys, and lots of snuggles (if they are a cuddly dog). For cats I will give them lots of enrichment time, I would love to play with toys with your cat, look out the window at birds, and maybe even put on some cat tv (birds and mice on the tv)!.

Hi, I’m Anika and I have so much love to give to your pets. I have cared for cats and dogs for most of my life. From when I was a child I have always had pets in the home. I had a St. Bernard for almost 11 years of my life, he was a gentle giant; he gave me so much experience with large dogs and also gave me a best friend. I have a lot of experience with cats, from having at least one cat in my house at all times when I was growing up, to taking care of friends cats for weeks at a time when they were unavailable. I have experience with senior cats up to age 19, cats that are skittish and shy, and cats that require more attention... even if that just means extra cuddles!

Anika was prompt and amazing on checking in on our cat Wasabi. She looks tons of photos and went the extra mile washing all of his used bowls during the back to back drop in visit. We've booked her before and we'll continue coming back :)
