(I also service New Orleans, Zachary, Baker, & Shenandoah!) I grew up with dogs and rescued a cat in high school and recently had a foster fail (I fell in love with and adopted my foster, Kiki!) I'm a former dog adoption counselor at Capital Area Animal Welfare Society (CAAWS) advising adopters on how to best care for their new family members. I've both dog and cat sat for LSU professors and graduate students and have a few recurring clients off this app. I therefore prefer a few days notice to before booking, also to see if Kiki likes them. My longest in home stay was 8 weeks. I specialize in befriending the most skittish of pets and have worked with both young puppies in need of training and older pets in need of extra care. The latter includes a pug in need of daily ear and eye drops, a blind cat needing an eye ointment, and an older cat in need of hormone pills twice a day. I can handle pretty much anything and have experience with reactive dogs so please be upfront about your pet's temperament. I love going on long walks and playing fetch equally as much as sitting and cuddling. I've never received a negative review or had an unhappy client.
