LVT w/over 25 years in animal care.
I have been a licensed veterinary technician since 1997 & petsitting since 1995. Animals are my heart & soul, they simply make the world a great place to be. I am also the Director of Animal Care at the Long Island Farm Sanctuary, and have been in animal rescue & advocacy for more than half my life. I will care for your pets as if they were my own, while you are away. Feel free to call or text anytime for real-time photos or videos of your pet while they're in my care.

I have been petsitting for several years. I have a fenced-in yard & my own Wirehaired Pointing Griffon pup, who is very dog-friendly. I only allow dog-sitting services in my home for other dog-friendly dogs. My specialty, however, is staying in my clients' homes, as pets are much more comfortable in their own environment. Leaving your pet for a temporary period of time is already stressful to them without changing their routine & environment. My dog is well cared for by my husband when I'm committed to someone else's pets. I also provide dog-walking services.

Anica was professional and reliable and great with our nervous pup Cookie who was in an unfamiliar environment (we were renting a house in Greenport). She took the time to meet Cookie in advance of our appointment and was very gentle and calming with her. She kept us informed about her visit with Cookie sending pictures and updates. We highly recommend Anica and would use her again in a heartbeat!

Anica was so great w my pup. She made sure she was comfortable despite lots of noise going on at my house due to construction on the roof. She was very caring and sent updates and photos throughout the day. I will definitely book her again!

Schedule
Animals are my life. While I do currently work full-time as a Registered Nurse, I easily fit animal care into my daily lifestyle by offering availability around my regular work hours.
