I’m still settling into Virginia after moving away from the cities so I haven’t established a set routine, especially since I haven’t found a day job. I can’t be gone for too many days since I have cats of my own and it’s not fair to my roommates to be saddled with them.

Pet care experience
I just moved to Virginia in December with my 2 cats, I’m excited to learn the area and meet friendly faces and cute critters! Currently working to finish my bachelors degree in communications. I have fostered dogs for 4 years through Save-A-Bull and Ruff Start Rescue with my family. All of which have been pit bulls or pit bull mixes. I have grown up around dogs of all sizes ranging from Pomeranians to Great Danes and have loved all of them :) I've also cared for goats, sheep, turkey/ chickens, cattle, reptiles, small rodents, and fish so I'm comfortable with all animals! I have been passionate about animals all my life and started pet sitting back in 2012 as a tween for family and friends. Once I realized how much I enjoyed being able to care for animals I decided to make it my side job through high school into college. Hard to believe it’s been 14 years now! I’ve done everything from giving senior dogs their meds in hot dogs to taking care of small farmsteads. I'm able to give oral medications if needed and can work with dietary/ movement restrictions. I have taken care of special needs dogs (diabetic, epileptic, post surgery). I haven’t given intravenous medicine, but I am certainly willing to learn with the right client. I'm looking forward to filling some of my free time engaging with dogs! I love going on walks, but I also love playing fetch and tug of war. I am also more than happy to watch any other critters you may have- barn animals included :)

Reviews

Angie was very experienced and knowledgeable about animal care.

Angie was great! On time, respectful of our home, and wonderful with our pets. We'll definitely have her back!

Angie was awesome! She stayed at our house overnight and took care of our three dogs. She was very patient even when our puppy kept her up all night. She left the house clean. She was even willing to help us with our farm critters. We would definitely recommend and plan on using her in the future!
My first time using Rover, or any sitting service. Angie was great, did everything she said she would do, on time. She got along great with my dog. I will definitely use book her again.
