Pet care experience
Comfy home, attentive & experienced
Hi there! I’m an experienced lifelong dog owner turned dogsitter in Orleans, looking to help you find a comfortable and secure home to board your pooch while you take time away! Perks of your furbaby staying in my home: - One on one care - I generally accept only one dog at a time. I'm willing to accept multiple dogs from the same owner, or two dogs at a time if I already know both dogs and they are non-reactive. I will always consult with owners to make sure they are okay with their pooch having a companion during their stay (always supervised by me) - no kids or other pets in the home - smoke-free environment - several walks a day, I live next to a beautiful park in a suburban area - dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed (if you allow it) — my home is their home while they stay here - secure, fenced backyard to play in - experience with special needs dogs, anxious and elderly dogs, behavioral and discipline issues, and giving pills/medicine and special diets - two minutes from a vet in case of emergency, access to a vehicle at all times - will send you updates and photos regularly for your peace of mind - knowledge of neighbourhood dogs for socializing opportunities - self-employed and work very few hours out of the home so your dog will have company almost constantly, my husband is also home most days and enthusiastically participates in all our dogsitting activities, we’re a team! My home is a great (and more affordable) alternative to commercial kennels and dog boarding services. Your pup will feel at home and lavished with love and attention from a true dog lover.

Angie is an amazing dog sitter! She made us feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the process. We got photos and updates of our dog, Oreo, while we were away. We would definitely reach out to Angie again!
Just left our pup with Angie for a week and he clearly had a great time. She is kind, responsive and helpful. Definitely booking again :)

Angie was absolutely amazing!! It was my first time leaving Parker with someone other than immediate family and I was so impressed with the level of care he received! Angie and Pat took such good care of him, and I really appreciated the text and picture updates. Parker had a great time! You can tell right from the start they are dog people, and will care for your pet like their own. It definitely helped put my mind at ease, and I am so grateful I found them! I am beyond thankful and will definitely rebook in the future if I need care for my guy! Thank you again Angie and Pat :)

Angie was amazing! Our dog Luna was right at home and got lots of love and cuddles! Angie provided regular updates and photos which really helped to let us know Luna was doing well! 10 out 10 best experience and couldn’t recommend more!

Greatly appreciated our experience entrusting our playful dog in Angie care.we appreciate the opportunity to meet ahead of the time.We recommend Angie to any dog owner.

We had Angie take care of our dog Riley while we were away for 5 days. Everything went perfectly. Our dog is big, strong, and can be high maintenance on walks. Angie and her husband handled him amazingly, accommodated his feeding and walking routine and took excellent care of Riley. They really understood Riley and his needs and quirks. Angie was wonderful to communicate with throughout Riley’s stay - she gave me updates, sent me pictures and videos and let me know how things were going. Riley was clearly having a great time - he was calm, comfortable and seemed to feel right at home. This was the longest amount of time I have been away from my dog and I was really nervous about leaving him. Angie really helped reassure me and made the entire process so easy for me and my dog. Highly recommend Angie to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, caring and confident to mind after their dog! Thank you so much Angie!

Schedule
I mostly work from home (away only a couple some days, and my husband is home) so your dog will always have company and cuddles, and will likely be spoken and sung to all day long as my canine confidante.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will have constant supervision, outdoor access in a fenced yard and walks whenever needed, and we will act as my emotional support companion after difficult zoom calls.
A typical day
Cuddles, hitting snooze, walks around local parks, treats and playtime/enrichment, a fenced yard for regular outdoor access, access to a pool in summer if your dog likes to swim, off-leash enclosed dog park nearby for full fledged romps, and serenading your pooch with top 40 hits and inserting their name into the chorus.

- My only preferences is not to have puppies. I prefer adult dogs with basic obedience and are potty trained. At my house, your dog will have constant access to a fenced yard.
