ANGIE'S FUR ANGELS
I have had pets all my life...birds, cats, hamsters, mice, fish, turtles & more. I bred & raised several of the small breeds mentioned here. I got pretty heavy into breeding Pomeranians for the most part. Then one day I met & fell in love with my first toy poodle. I named her Precious. I have been hooked ever since. I learned how to train dogs about 20 years ago. I have been doing it ever since. My two poodles I taught to do tricks. What else should I do with a 3 1/2 lb doggy? I have had quite some experience giving different kinds of medicines to dogs. So I feel pretty comfortable handling that task. I have taken care of many owners' pets in the past but that was before I have ever heard of Rover.

Great communication throughout. Lovely way to get a long hike in Yosemite when traveling with your pup.

Angie was awesome! It was my first time using rover and I felt a bit apprehensive leaving my dogs with a stranger, at first. But Angie’s constant updates and pictures gave me reassurance and made this connection solid. She’s a very sweet person and very accommodating!

Donut loved hanging out with Angie and crew while I took day hikes in Yosemite. This offered an easy way to vacation with my best buddy and still follow the rules of the park.

Thank you Angie for watching our dog Gouda while we spent a weekend in Yosemite! Angie’s location is super convenient for anyone traveling on the way to the park. Gouda enjoyed hanging out with Angie’s poodles!

I was planning on taking Lily (4y old labradoodle) into Yosemite on my driving trip, then decided at the last minute to board her. She’s never been boarded before so I was concerned - but connected with Angie through Rover. Angie is clearly a caring dog lover, and I felt very comfortable in leaving Lily there for three nights. All went well. Lily had the run of Angie’s house, slept on a couch, and Angie kept me updated with photos. I have no hesitation in recommending Angie.

Mabel enjoyed her time with Angie and was happy to go back. Angie gave us updates with photos which we much appreciated.

I am home a lot, and only gone on doctor appointment days. I am available most weekends and most holidays. I only leave for the big ones like Christmas and Thanksgiving. As a rule, I am pretty flexible.

I live in a house with a fenced deck and fenced yard. There is stairs to my garden. Ask more, if this concerns you. My 2 friendly toy poodles get plenty of exercise running up and down the stairs to the deck and among my beautiful garden. There are several very close areas to walk dogs within 5 minutes driving of my house. Also, we have a dog park 10 min away. Here's a PLUS....I literally live 30 min from the northern gate entrance to Yosemite National Park, (our 3rd National Park). So, if you plan a trip to hit the snow, hike to its many waterfalls, bike or take a nice relaxing float down the lazy class 2 Merced River in Yosemite......contact ME. You can't take dogs on these ventures...

I take new dogs on a tour of my yard and area in my house when first arrived. I encourage all dogs to follow me when I go outside to do chores etc. I take a dog's face in my hand while I speak the do'g name and we look into each other's eyes. Lots of petting, rubbing etc. to build a good warm relationship. Tug of war is a common play my dogs enjoy. Dog's love when I play hide n' seek....me hiding & popping out. Great rainy day game that gets them so excited they will chase each other all over the house. It is essential that I am informed of any handicaps your dog may have...such as blindness, hearing loss, digestive issues, fear of the dark etc. Please do NOT switch food prior to bringing your dog to stay here. Always continue the same food when in a new environment. Bad experiences on all of these issues have occurred and is the primary reason for me bringing this up. It is also for the comfort of your pet.
