Availability
My schedule is flexible, I work from home and have the ability to set my own hours. I can walk your dog, check on them several times a day, provide fresh water, playtime and plenty of belly rubs. I can stay at your home overnight if needed. I am very comfortable around cats. I can drop in to feed, provide fresh water, cuddles and of course clean their litterboxes daily. I have cared for a few birds and rabbits over the years too! My weekends are usually open, I can work around anything to be able to tend to your pets needs.

If your dog stays at our home, we unfortunately do not have a fence yard. We libe in a condo. But we walk several times a day, rain or shine. We have a Shih Tzu dog that loves playing with other dogs. Whether it is in your home or mine, I do not believe in leaving a dog alone overnight. The stress of their human family being gone is enough for them to handle. They deserve to know they are loved and watched over. Pets should be looked in on after a few hours of being alone. They can start to get into mischief after that. If your dog needs to be crated, I have a small and large crate that I can provide. Cats are independent and can be left alone overnight but will still be checked on at least once or twice a day. (I honestly think they prefer that sometimes…lol)

Pet care experience
I have been around animals all my life. I love dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, turtles and fish. I am sure I have missed a few other pets. I am not a fan of reptiles & insects; they are marvelous creatures but just not for me. So, if you have a snake, lizard, bearded dragon or spider, I am sorry I am not the girl to help you out. My parents had 2 dogs while I was growing up, “Dinky” who was a shaggy mutt and “Misty” a Doberman. They were both very loving and playful dogs. As I became a teenage, we had horses, I was responsible for my own horse by grooming, feeding and exercise. We also had a toy poodle named “Taffy” and a Maltese names “Barney”. My sister also had 2 rabbits that I helped care for them too. I enjoyed living with all of them as a kid. I also learned what is involved in owning and caring for a pet. When I turned 19 and moved out on my own, I decided to get a kitten. His name was “Reggie” he had a very spoiled life living the luxury of an indoor cat. Having Reggie showed me what a difference there is between owning a dog and owning a cat. Cats are so much more independent and stubborn at times. In my late 20’s, I rescued 6 kittens that were orphaned at the age of 5 weeks, due to their mother being killed in front of my house by a car. I found loving homes for 3 of them and I ended up keeping 3 of them. At this time, Reggie was almost 18 years old and was in poor health. He enjoyed the company up until he had to cross over the rainbow bridge. The kittens, Smokey, Tess & Meeka, grew to also be very spoiled and loved until old age set it and they too crossed over to join Reggie. It has only been the last 5 years that I have gone back to being a dog owner. My boyfriend and I have been together 18 years, we live together and adopted “Killian” our Shih Tzu when he was 10 weeks old. Killian got his name because he was born on St. Patrick’s Day. Prior to us adopting Killian, he lived with an elderly lady for 2 weeks and she decided that she did not want him after all. Killian is now 5 and he is a spunky, playful and strong-minded dog. He loves all animals! He loves to go for walks, play frisbee in the yard and chill out by the pool. He loves swimming in his little pool! Killian welcomes all dogs to visit his house.

Reviews

Angie was great, again! I made the mistake of getting my dog a different flavor food before leaving for a trip and he went on a hunger strike and refused to eat. She got him food that he would and made sure he was ok. She kept me updated as things progressed. She is very trustworthy. I was at a work conference but was able to trust her to make sure things worked out. Would recommend to anyone.

Angie and Killian took such good care of Benny, we’re so thankful to both of them for having Benny as a guest for the day, we’ve already booked ongoing doggy daycare with them! She sent regular updates throughout the day which is always appreciated when you leave your baby with someone.

Cannot explain enough how GREAT Angie was. Lots of pictures and updates. Lots of love and attention for my young puppy!

bodhi had a great time with angie and killian!
