Pet care experience

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always liked animals more than people (just kidding). Animals are simple, you give them love and they love you right back. I couldn’t stand to see an animal suffering or without a home on the street. I would pick up stray dogs, cats, and injured birds and nurture them all back to health. I decided to dedicate my life long passion for animals into taking care of them. Animals have always been extremely fascinating to me. I would spend all my childhood reading books about them at the library and watching animal planet 24/7. I have a decade of experience professionally taking care of pets. When I was in high school, I was part of the veterinarian assisting program for 4 years and got certified as a veterinarian assistant. I worked with mainly dogs and horses. Every day, I would be bathing dogs, giving them ear cleanings, walking them, and training them. I’ve worked at Petsmart as a pet care specialist for a year where I took care of sick animals, administered medication, nurtured baby animals, and took care of small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, and rats. I then went on to be a pet sitter at Rover since 2017. 90% of my clients often come back to me and return to me to keep taking care of their babies. I have experience taking care of all sorts of special needs pets!

Angie always updates and sends pictures of what the dogs are doing. She always asks questions when something is unclear. Given that I had my care instructions before the meet and greet, I just wish she had been upfront about not being comfortable with the time I walk my dogs at night. I also booked for a house sitting but it ended up being more of a drop in here and there. In her sitter profile she said she works remotely and pretty much available full time so I thought my dogs will have company most of the day.
