Animal lover excited to care for your pet!
Hi, my name is Angharad and I’m from Wales in the UK. Throughout my life, I have cared for friends and family members pets, taking dogs for walks, feeding and playing with cats, feeding and cleaning out rabbits, chickens and feeding sheep, horses and pigs. I absolutely love interacting with animals! I have a degree in Animal Behaviour and have various work experience including working at rescue centres, looking after pets at the vets, assisting with puppy classes and helping at an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka. I now work for Guide Dogs, an assistance dogs charity that helps visually impaired people with independent mobility. I train dogs from 12 months the guiding task to guide someone who is blind or visually impaired. I am a qualified dog care and welfare assistant, guide dog trainer and guide dog mobility specialist. I have experience with reactive dogs, separation anxiety, recall issues and I always use positive training methods. I have cared for numerous guide dogs in my home over the last 10 years to assess their social behaviour. I am very comfortable with dogs and love giving them fuss, taking them for walks and providing them with enrichment. I am frequently asked to care for friends and family members pets along with house sitting as I am reliable, trustworthy and love caring for animals. I am often asked back to the homes as I keep everything tidy and send updates to the owners. I frequently look after someone’s cat (Cleo) in my village who is nervous of people but she comes out and interacts with me often and I love her to bits! I have also completed dog and cat sits in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and London. These were amazing experiences and I would love to do more!

I would be happy to do a video call before dog walking/house sitting so we can meet each other and talk about what’s best for your pet! I’d ensure I spent all my time with the animal in the house and would give you updates! I’d love to know as much as possible to ensure the pet’s needs are met. I’d follow any instruction and would keep your home clean and tidy.

The booking was for three half hour visits to feed my two cats, and to "scoop the poop" and clean up any hairball incidents. Angharad reassured me at the first visit with photos so I knew that my very shy cat had been brave enough to come out for food. Unfortunately, Angharad arrived 1½ hours late for the evening visit with no explanation and only stayed for 15 minutes. The cats take about 15 minutes to eat their meal so this must have been a very rushed visit with minimal time for interaction. She updated me after the final visit (20 minutes) that they had been fine overnight. The cats were fed, but I would have appreciated a bit more evidence that they were getting some good human interaction to break up their day. This and the late visit are why I gave 3 stars.
Angharad was absolutely amazing looking after our beautiful dogs, Teddy and Peach! She went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We loved receiving regular updates, photos, and messages each day — it really put our minds at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We came home to two very content pups who had clearly been loved like her own. We couldn’t have asked for better care! We would highly recommend! Thank you so much Angharad. Angharad was just phenomenal from start to finish, it was so wonderful to know I was going away for the weekend and didn't have to worry for a moment about the pets as I knew they were in safe hands and that they would be pampered and cared for as if they were her own. I will be booking Angharad again in a heartbeat xxx
I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after my pets other than Hari!!! I’ve known her for many years through family and have never met such a caring and knowledgable animal lover. I go to Hari for my pet advice as well! Hari has worked with animals for most of her life and has numerous qualifications in animal behaviour as well as a vast amount of work experience. Hari is 100% my go to for pet and house sitting!
There’s no one I’d trust more than Angharad to look after my pets. She’s looked after my dogs Dudley and Hector in the past with exceptional care. Her knowledge was invaluable when I had a puppy. She knows exactly how to react to pets and has an extensive knowledge on pets and their behaviour based on her high qualifications and practical experience. She grew up with animals and now through her career too.

I would be able to walk your dog over weekends and through the week around my working hours. I work remotely and could pick up and drop off the dog for walking.
