27 Years of Pet-Care Experience

Your pets aren't "just pets" — they're family. And as someone who has shared my life with dogs for many years, I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with their care. I began my animal-care journey studying Animal Sciences at Rutgers University's Cook College. Although my career eventually took me in a different direction, animals remained a constant part of my life. I've been pet sitting for friends and family for 27 years, and I also worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years. My veterinary experience gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs with a variety of needs, including senior and medically fragile pets. I'm comfortable administering: Oral medications Eye drops Subcutaneous fluids Senior-pet care and monitoring Feeding and medication routines Providing extra patience and attention to older or anxious dogs My beloved 15-year-old Shih Tzu recently passed away, and while losing him has been incredibly difficult, it has also reminded me how much I love caring for animals. I'm ready to open my heart — and my schedule — to caring for other people's beloved pets. Today, I'm a wife and mother who works from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable pet care while being available when your pets need me. Whether your dog needs a midday visit, companionship while you're away, medication administration, or simply someone who will treat them like family, I bring years of experience, patience, compassion, and genuine love for animals to every visit. Your pet's comfort and well-being are my priority.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe the best pet care starts with making your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m playful and attentive, but I’m also responsible and observant—I pay attention to your pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. I’m happy to care for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, including larger dogs up to 100 pounds. I also welcome cats! Whether your pet is energetic and ready to play or prefers a quiet afternoon curled up beside me, I’m happy to meet them where they are. Your home is your pet’s safe place, and I treat it with the same respect I would want for my own home. I follow your instructions carefully, maintain your pet’s normal routine as much as possible, and make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other safety measures are secure. Most importantly, I want your pets to look forward to seeing me! I’ll give them plenty of attention, playtime, affection, walks, and companionship, while respecting their boundaries and individual personalities.

Schedule

I work remotely from home and have had a flexible work-from-home schedule for the past seven years, which allows me to be very accommodating with pet-care needs. I'm available for morning visits after 8:30 AM, once I get my daughter on the school bus, as well as midday walks and visits while you're at work. Because I work remotely, I'm also happy to spend the day at your home with your pets when needed, as long as I have access to Wi-Fi so I can work while keeping your pets company. My only regular scheduling limitation is 3:00–5:00 PM on weekdays, when I'm busy with school pickup and getting my children to their afternoon activities. Weekends are generally open and flexible, and I'm happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet's routine and your travel plans. My flexible schedule allows me to provide more than just a quick check-in—I can give your pets plenty of companionship, attention, and care throughout the day.

Every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, so I like to learn as much as I can before their first visit. The more I know, the more comfortable and happy your pet will be while you're away! Before caring for your pet, I'd love to know: Their daily routine: feeding times, walks, potty schedule, nap times, and bedtime. Personality & preferences: What makes them happy? What do they love—or absolutely hate? Favorite activities: Toys, games, treats, walks, cuddles, or their favorite place to relax. Health & medical needs: Medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, mobility issues, or anything else I should monitor. Behavior & triggers: How they react to other dogs, cats, children, strangers, noises, or being left alone. House rules: Where they're allowed to go, furniture they're allowed on, crate routines, and any areas that are off-limits. Emergency information: Your veterinarian's contact information and instructions for what you'd like me to do if your pet becomes ill or injured. Anything else that makes them unique: Their favorite treats, funny habits, special routines, or anything that helps me understand what makes your pet them.
