Rover is my full time job. That being said, it is first come, first serve. I wish I had all the time to hang out with all the animals, but unfortunately that's not possible. House sitting, to me, is staying overnight. There is a chance that I'll do drop ins with other clients, but if you're on my book as a housesit, I will be with your pup at least 15 hours of the day. If your pup needs constant care, please let me know at the meet and greet so I don't book anyone while at your house.

Safety, trust & environment
I strive for safety with your animals with all things. Unless they're a bigger dog, they are supervised every time they're in the backyard. With bigger dogs, I check up on them every 5- 10 minutes while cooking or cleaning up. With more barrel-chested dogs, after they're fed, we rest for 30 minutes to an hour to prevent the possibility of bloat. On walks, I'm very perceptive and keep an eye for any potential loose dogs or so. Due to my dog having been attacked twice, I'm very alert and will make the best decision in the moment to ensure nothing happens- most likely that means turning around and offering space to disengage. Their safety and your trust is my number one priority. With this being my source of income, I take a great amount of pride in my work. I will leave your house how it is and most likely crochet on the couch while watching TV in the downtime.
Information Angelina R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pup has any allergies or potential triggers. I do wear tinted glasses for migraines, but I do have clear ones if that is an issue. I usually bring treats of varying types, but will refrain from using them if you'd rather use your own treats. Also, while I don't have explicit knowledge of injections, I'm not opposed to learning if you're willing to show me. I do have experience helping a family member draw blood and piercing their finger. I am just skeptical of adding that I can do it because I like to be overly cautious.
A typical day
While you're away, your pup should be able to have a little bit more fun, yeah? If they're up for it, I play tug of war (I've gotten quite strong from slinging around my 50 lb pittie) or fetch. I'm quite skilled in the game "don't take, only throw." I love dance parties and small zoomies with the pups. I also love adventures! So, if you're up to it, I would love to take your pup to a nearby hiking spot or walking path so they can get some smells they may not usually get. That being said, if your pup is more of a homebody, I will happily sit on the couch and snuggle or crochet.

Pet care experience
***IMPORTANT*** My prices did raise May 1st. This is to reflect my 20 years experience in pet care, CPR training, body handling, body language, slight medical knowledge, and dog training. ***Thank you for understanding! ❤️ *** I've been in the pet field in some compacity for 20 years and professionally as a dog trainer for 10 years - though I am working on getting more certifications and expanding on my knowledge. I've trained chihuahuas up to Danes, puppies to dogs up to 8 years old - and sat up to 16 years old. With my training, I became really good at reading body language and cues so whether your dog is happy- go- lucky or a bit more on the nervous side, I can meet them where they're at. I want each interaction to end with positive experiences. I love playing tug of war and having dance parties with pups! You're on vacation, they should have a blast as well! I, also, love taking pictures. You'll most likely get "omg I thought this was cute" pictures or action shots where they're running back to me after I throw a ball or stick. When it comes to medication, I can give pills easily, but I would like to see how you provide shots before administering any. I prefer to be overprepared rather than underprepared. ~*~*~ I am perfectly fine with taking care of small animals and reptiles. There will be an extra fee though~*~*~

Reviews

Angie is the best! Return customer… last summer we left our dog for the first time ever (obviously we’re helicopter pet owners), and we felt so comfortable the whole time we were out of town bc of Angie’s stellar care. Naturally she did the same this year for our cat. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Great communication and did an amazing job watching after my cat.
Angie was awesome. She was very attentive to our kitty that needed daily medication, and gave our three pets, a lot of love and care. We were gone for 10 days and we’ve never left them before for that long. We were so, so happy with the attention to our little loved ones and would definitely hire Angie again. Highly recommend. Angie is very popular, so make sure to make plans in advance.

Angelina was great with our dog and 3 cats! Let me know exactly what was happening with the weather and reached out when she encountered our dog who doesn’t like to go out in cold weather!
