*Disclaimer: I currently live in an apartment, so I’m only accepting small to medium dogs (preferably under 30 lbs). I’m also open to arrangements outside of Rover to avoid fees, but I’m just as happy to keep everything through Rover. Whatever you’re most comfortable with! Hi! My name is Angelica. I graduated from UT Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in Technology & Emerging Communication, and I currently work remotely part-time in social media. I’m originally from Brownsville, TX, and I grew up surrounded by dogs (and a lot of stray cats!). Throughout my life I’ve cared for dachshunds, poodles, yorkies, pugs, and especially chihuahuas, they’re my absolute favorite. My most recent chihuahua lived to almost 17 before she crossed the rainbow bridge 🤍, so senior and anxious dogs hold a very special place in my heart. I’m honestly more of a homebody, so I like to spend a lot of time at home just gaming, relaxing, which means your dog will have plenty of company and attention. I’m gentle, patient, and really care about making sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I hope to use my creative background to contribute to the animal world one day, but for now, I’m excited to take care of your pets like they’re my own <3

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work remotely part-time, so I’m home most of the day and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and playtime throughout the day. I also have my own car, so I can easily get to you. I’m open to boarding small dogs in my apartment since I’m home enough to give them constant attention.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a small apartment, so boarding works best for small or calm-medium dogs. When pets stay with me, they get lots of supervision since I’m home almost all day. I always keep the space safe, clean, and comfortable, and I never leave pets unattended for long periods. If I’m in your home, I follow your routine exactly: feeding times, walks, meds, and any behavior notes. I’ve cared for dogs with special needs, including blind, deaf, senior pets, dogs with kidney disease, and heart murmurs. I’m very gentle, patient, and empathetic with every pet.
A typical day
I adjust activities based on your dog’s energy level and personality. If they’re active, we’ll go on walks, play, and explore new smells outside. If they’re more relaxed, I’m happy to sit with them while I game, draw, or watch TV so they still get companionship and affection. My goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and entertained in whatever way makes them happiest.

- Please let me know if your dog has any medical needs, anxiety triggers, feeding routines, medication schedules, or behavioral quirks so I can make them comfortable. I have experience caring for senior dogs and pets with kidney disease, blindness, deafness, post-op and heart murmurs, so I’m very patient and attentive. I’m open to dogs of all sizes, but since I currently live in a small apartment I prefer small–medium dogs for boarding.
