Availability
Drop ins for a dog walk or cat care are most appropriate for my ability to service your pets. I can perform a maximum of 2 drop in visits to your home per day to accommodate kitty meals or medications. I am currently unable to accept new dog clients for vacation care. I work full time and have grad school obligations of a minimum of 15-18 hours a week. All of that time is flexible, which allows me to continue to offer a service that I am passionate about. However, with a very full client load, I’m often near the limit of the amount of hours there is in a day! I’m hoping in January of 2027 I will be able to meet some new vacation dog friends again. I recently reduced my distance radius. If I have serviced you before, this does not apply to you, and I would love to see your fur babies again.

A typical day
Walks at Metroparks, local trails, dirt roads. I like to mix up the view. Fetch, lake swimming, and dog parks are some other fun alternatives. Teaser toys are very interactive and usually most interesting to my cat clients. They also enjoy wet food and/or treats. I can move their toys around the house to maintain their interest.

Pet care experience
Like many people, I had a family dog and cat growing up, and have continued to love and care for my own pets ever since. Having pets of my own has enhanced my life in very positive ways, and I enjoy supporting that kind of relationship for others as well. If I hired someone to look after my pets, I would want them to put the same amount of thought and care into it as I do. I'll love your fur baby like my own! I seriously have fallen in love with every single pet in my care. In addition to raising several different mixed breeds of wonderful dogs, and several dearly loved cats over the years, I've been pet sitting and walking dogs for about 20 years (started in my teens!), and I look forward to meeting my future furry friends. From my experience with my own pets, and many other wonderful pets through Rover, I have administered many different types of medications and am comfortable with that task.
