Most of my pet-care experience comes from being a pet owner, along with helping family and friends with their dogs when they needed someone they could trust. I’ve cared for dogs with anxiety and stranger-danger issues, including two dogs who needed a little extra patience and time to become comfortable with me. That experience taught me that not every dog is going to immediately run up and say hello—and that’s okay. I don’t force interaction or expect every pet to warm up on my timeline. I let them set the pace. I’m comfortable following a pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and whatever little routines make them feel comfortable and secure. I’m also very big on communication with their people, because I know how much easier it is to relax when you know your pet is doing okay. What probably sets me apart most is that I’m not looking at this as simply stopping by to complete a list of tasks. I genuinely care about how the pet is feeling while their person is away. My goal is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for—and for you to feel like you left them with someone you can trust.

For now, I’m only accepting bookings where I care for pets in their own home. I want them to be able to stay in the environment they’re already comfortable and familiar with, rather than adding the stress of going somewhere new. Before a booking, I’ll make sure I understand your pet’s routine, any quirks or behaviors I should know about, feeding instructions, medications if applicable, where supplies are located, and what to do if something unexpected comes up. When I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I’ll make sure doors and gates are secure, follow your instructions, and keep your pet’s safety my first priority. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos during visits. I know that trusting someone with your pet—and giving them access to your home—is a big deal. I want you to feel comfortable knowing exactly how things are going while you’re away.

Angela has watched & loved my pets for years - I never had to worry whenever I had to leave them in her care for out of town trips. I received photos and updates, silly stories of their antics while away and I knew about any concerns immediately. My pets love her and sometimes don’t want to come home! If you’re looking for dependable but also loving care, Angela is your girl!
I only trust Angela to care for Snoopy and Scooby while we are away. She is always great at handling Snoopy who is very anxious with anyone coming into his home. She takes the time to allow him feel comfortable around her each time she is here. Scooby is pretty easy to handle being 14, he just likes to sit around. But she allows him to sit with her and he feels safe there.
Angela has been there when needed the most! She has loved on my pup for the last two years, always being reliable and so understanding of my anxious pup. I’m so glad she decided to join Rover and spread her joy and pet experience with other pet parents!
Angela is the best! Careful, conscientious and so loving. She’ll take care of your babies as well as her own and/or follow your directions explicitly. I’m super picky and trust her with my furbabies. I wholeheartedly recommend Angela!

Schedule
Pet care fits nicely into my routine because I’m intentionally keeping my schedule flexible so I can be available during the day when pets may need someone to check in on them. I currently have availability for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, and I’ll only accept bookings that I know I can reliably commit to. I don’t want to overbook myself or leave a pet waiting longer than expected. I’m also a big believer in communicating clearly ahead of time about schedules, routines, and what your pet needs. If I agree to care for your pet, I want you to be able to count on me.
